You have to weigh what is going on with the kids.
The example he is setting for them, does he make them pay in any way with his drinking,, is he abusive, do they have to do without things because of it.
Find an Al Anon group for you and get involved they can help you sort things out much better than we can on yahoo answers.

It's really up to you. If he's an alcoholic and he doesn't want to get help you need to decide if you can live with him like that. It's probably not the best environement for you or your kids. Talk to him and let him know how you feel and that you are concerned for your family. If he refuses to get help you can't make him - and your choice is to either leave and see if it sparks him to want to get help, or you stay and hope somewhere down the line he wants to get help.

marriage is about the relationship of two principle. Children are the by product of the marriage. It's best to part than to stay in an unhealthy one, not only for you as well as for the children....

That is a tough one. I was in Al-Anon. My boyfriend who was terminal with cancer was an alcoholic. He did die. What I learned is that you have to divert yourself from the situation. For many, that means divorce or separation. You cannot be the enabler. You can't have your children be the enabler either.
Here is Alanon website. Your kids may be interested in Alateen.

Either they would go and get some help or I would leave them that is not kinda life for your children. Trust me I know I lived their abusive relationship with my mother's boyfriends if she could only know how much it hurt but how she hurt me for not leaving them assholes i would be having so much pain. Please either tell him to get help or u leaving no children need to leave with an drunk!!!!!!
