if he yells at you for something, and you remind him he does/did it too, why am I the only one still at fault? the other answer I get is "whatever!"

Sounds like he needs some help in growing up. Next time he brings it up, just agree with him and tell him you'll try harder to fix the issue. It'll take the wind from his sails and he'll not have anything to keep yelling about. If you know its a bad choice or silly thing to be fighting over, correct it. Not to please him, but to improve yourself as a person and wife. Or tell him I know I do it too. I think we should both work to improve the problem, then walk off. The biggest thing is that if you don't yell back, it'll mess him up and hopefully make him rethink what he is doing.

sounds to me like your hubby is afraid to admit he is wrong. just tell yourself in your thoughts"hey i know i am right" and move on. get a sly grin or laugh to yourself about it .if he is a good man generally then just take the bad with the good. don't feel bad alot of men are the same way. just get your own personal satisfaction in knowing that he knows he was wrong and you were right

Cause we men can be doorknobs sometimes and hate to be wrong, we hate it even more when you remind us and we know you're right, but we still try to save some face - and end up becoming bigger asses for it.

Aloha!!

because thats not what you are actually arguing about. if my BF yells at me for not locking both locks on the door when i come in at night, hes not pissed about the locks. hes pissed i was out at night without him. if hes yelling at you, say, about leaving wet towels on the floor say "what is this really about? you think im inconsiderate? you think that im not paying enough attention to the house? what?" have him tell you.

Because a man can't stand a woman to be right. It's belittling to them to be wrong. A true man can handle it a COWARD CAN'T.
