What are some of the qualities men look for in wemen?

I am referring to what they look for in a woman when he wants to marry her

1. That she has life goals/direction...and I agree/respect/am compatible with her life goals and direction (same for her with me)

2. Intelligent, educated (whether it be worldly, standardized or both)
3. Responsible in all aspects of life: relationships, financially, health, etc.
4. Inner Happiness: meaning: she is not basing her happiness on me...she is happy when I met her due to the decisions she has made in her life, her career, her friends, family, etc. I would just add to that
5. She would want me, rather than need me: meaning, she is happy before me, has friends, a good relationship with her family, financially stable, has a career, isnt looking for someone to just marry and have kids with, etc. She would be mentally stable and have her priorities in order...not just want me out of selfishness to fulfill what she thinks she wants out of life.
6. *She has to have a positive mental attitude, caring, loving, accepting, good personality, independent, etc. I put a * in front of it, because I think that all of these things would be a given if the person matched my above criteria.
7. Obviously, you can not marry someone that you are not attracted to. Women, by nature, are gorgeous. If a girl respects herself, is healthy, lives positively, etc....then, more than likely, she will be attractive to me. I don't need a supermodel. I don't care for these girls that are ridiculously skinny, matter of fact...I don't much like it. If you must know, I notice hair first. I don't care the color, as long as it is a natural color (not like purple or green or whatever). I prefer longer than shorter, but if it is a self respecting hair style, I doubt it would matter. Curly or straight...whatever. Tall or shirt girls...doesnt matter...I guess I wouldnt want a girl taller than me (I am 6'2")...is that too much to ask? Bust size makes no difference to me at all, neither does eye color, neither does skin tone. People that respect themselves and are healthy are typically attractive, I assume. I haven't been proved wrong yet.
8. She has to love my parents, grandparents and dog. She has to treat them with respect, because they will all, even the dog, treat her like she is a queen!

Wow, I just wrote a diatribe. I apologize. I just have never wrote down everything that I expected. It is about time I did. If I was a woman, I would expect the same!

First, a real gentleman. Not only a gentle man, but one with good manners, good taste, quiet and gentle speech, intelligence, good judgment, who is attentive, thoughtful, patient, and -- here's the zinger -- a good provider. Say what you will, even a lady with a career of her own wants a man who can support her so she can take time out to have children, so she has a backup in case she loses her job, etc. That's really not the most important consideration, but it is a consideration. If you're not doing all that well in your career right now, consider whether you and she could form a family business, and work together for mutual prosperity.

OOOOPS!!! I read that backwards, didn't I? Well, then, try it the other way: A real lady. Not just a gentle woman, but . . . and read it the same way. Except when we get to the part about "good provider," substitute the following: a practical woman who can make money last, who is not extravagent in her tastes, and who can help a man when he needs a hand to further his career. If you are not doing well in your career right now, perhaps . . . the stuff about family business is good for both, of course.

Someone who is honest and trustworthy, Attractive and kind with a good heart. Possible help mate and someone who would be a good mother to children. Respect and honor and selflessness.... She has to be a good listener and patient and giving and understanding. Devoted and does not hide things from me. Good communicator and romantic and fun to be with. Creative . Christian and must love God! I would want her to be the wife to me that God wants her to be and i want her to be a Proverbs 31 woman ... A woman of virtue and full of morality and kindness and forgiving! I want her to be the one that God would want for my life and i would want to be a great husband to her too and have all the qualities she is looking for!
