I think it's perfectly normal. There is a special love that a mother has for her child; it's unconditional. But the love of one's spouse is different and can die. Love for a child cannot. (And I think it takes another mother to understand this.)

You don't need to be a mother to understand what you're saying. If you have a mother (we all do) - one who loved you, then you can understand the love you feel for your son. I was lucky enough to have a mother who feels the way you do. Not all mothers feel that way. I've worked with abused children most of my career. Many of whom were hurt by their own parents. It's wonderful to love a child the way you describe it. The fact that you wouldn't die for your husband is interesting, but not wrong.

Nah it's not wrong alot of mothers feel and do the same as you do. However, your husband should be right up there with your son because he did marry you and did help you make your son.

I don't think it's wrong. You love your husband. But you share a bond with your child that is amazing and can't be beat. After all you've nurtured your son and you gave him life. You said it yourself you love your husband with all your heart, but that bond you have with your child is special and amazing. It's something only you can feel as a parent.

your husband comes first and then your son. you havea beautiful relationship with your hubby before your sone was created and now that he is here you think you love him more. no you love your hubby in a different way than your kid. you cant puit them in the same catagory of love.you love your hubby with all your heart but now you will not die for h9im because you have your son. any parent will die for thier kids. and you hubby probably feels the same way.

I think what you are feeling is perfectly fine. We may not be normal :-) I love my boys with ALL my heart. I do believe it is a different kind of love than the love I have for my husband. My little ones are my world :-)

No one comes first or last there is a love for your kids and a love for your parents and a love for your spouse you don't go around classifying them or priortizing them. It is just plain stupid to ever say you love one more then the other its wrong and only a idoit like the Laura would say something stupid like only a mother would understand. You put your love where your love needs to be.

no it happens..your a mom that is instinctual love formed from a humanly bond-I dont think marriage vows are as intense.your husband you see as a mate or a man- faults included..with your son you see your dreams, your joy your mind doesnt go to the negative part with him. it doesnt mean you dont love your husband..but I'd keep it quiet-just to advoid hurt feelings or a misunderstanding.I have the same feeling for our daughter

Yes it is wrong because according to the bible your husband comes first and then your kids and you should be willing to die for both of them!
