Marriage & Divorce - 14 June 2006

I will be 32 next month and my husband is 46. The vehicle we have is not dependable because it tends to cut off while you are driving it. We cant rent a car because we don't have a credit card and our debit card is no good because the bank account is at a negative reading (-$125.00), so traveling doesn't look like an option. We do have about $100.00 of pocket money saved up.
We don't like the same hobbies. He enjoys Fishing from sunrise-sunset LITERALLY, home cooked meals that aren't fancy (he likes tender fried steaks and bar-b-qued pork), and action movies/sometimes westerns. On the other hand, I don't like most of the things mentioned. I enjoy slow dancing, fancy meals (culinary school taught recipies), walking along the riverfront at night while holding hands,comedy plays, and music for whatever the occasion. I won't go fishing with him soon because I've been going with him the last few months and I'm tired of being sweaty, and looking trees and water all darn day.

Due to a nasty divorce, my ex-wife has cut off all attempted communication to my 14 year old daughter living with her. I try calling, writing letters, but denied every time. How can I let my girl know that I still love her and want her in my life regardless of what lies my mean ex may be feeding her. My daughter lives far away and due to monetary constraints, I cannot just drop in. Being the numbnuts that I am, in the divorce papers I left visitation rights up to the mom, Very bad choice now I realize, not knowing then what a ***** I was to deal with. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

My parents say that they are getting a divorce. I am 13 years old, and as you know, that's the age where you have to pick between mother or father. I don't know what i should do! I have an identical twin sister, and we want to go with the same parent. But both of my older sisters (18 & 21 year old; even though they're not involved in the divorce circle because they are adults) chose to live with my dad, because my mom restricts them from partying and seeing their boyfriends. Me and my twin sister want to live with BOTH of them even though we know that it's no possible to work out that way. We want to live with our dad, but we don't want to live my mom all alone, like no one in my family of 6 loves her! I don't want to live my mom ALL ALONE when she has 4 GIRLS & no one wants to live with her. I am afraid that she will hate me if I go live with my dad after the divorce. I know that i can visit her on weekends and on holidays; but i want to see her EVERYDAY! What can i do to settle this?

My husband has made so many comments about my body and other women's bodies in a negative way, that I always feel ugly. I am an attractive woman and I know this, but the man I'm married to is a pig. I have found a nasty magazine and he has told me so many lies. I'm miserable with him, but I don't want to leave because of my 3 year old son. how is it possible that a woman can converse, call, recieve calls look at, flirt with anyone they please, and they expect us not to take offence, if we do take offence we do not trust, on the other hand we loose friends, cant converse, call or recieve calls without being accused of doing something wrong.

I got engaged 3 months after i met him; i truly felt i loved him..but now we have been engaged for 1 year.. I feel he has changed in this past one year.. I look at it from 2 different views.... How many of you given the choice would marry a guy that you were madly in love with or one that you were not so in love with, but he was very financialy secure and would stay by your side for the rest of your life?

I have already been through the roller coaster ride of loving someone who gave nothing back and left me in financial ruins. Now I have the choice of loving chaoticaly again or choosing the quieter path with a man who is secure and will be here forever but doesn't have quit as much of a spark.
