Probably just a few days, or maybe even hours if you do it in Las Vegas style...

But, give the Marriage a chance, before you go into this... Divorce is only good for the lawyers..

In California, no less than 6 months. We have a mandatory 6 month separation/cooling off period. But like the other post, give marriage a chance. Seek counseling or therapy. Divorce is not the answer except where there is evidence of any kind of abuse or mental incapacity. Yes, infidelity isn't grounds for divorce in the State of CA. Irrenconciable differences is the catch all for stupid reasons. The whole system is designed to stop the process and force couples to work it out.

45-days in georgia. most other places it is 6-months to a year unless you have a specific reason to divorce, i.e infidelity, abuse etc.

in this day and age probably 30 days thats how long you have to wait before you remarry
