My wife and I are splitting up and I am buying the majority of our stuff from her. How do we decide a fair price without having to pay an auctioneer to put a value on it.

I was together with my ex for almost 3 years. We met at work and we hit it off. We had a beautiful baby girl together, but things just went downhill after that. I expected things from him that he didn't want to do. He refused to grow up and I kept forcing him to. He became abusive recently and I have since left him and I'm trying to stand on my own two feet again.

I feel like I depended on him for so much, that I can't live without him. My friends tell me that I'm wrong... I can only depend on myself. I have my beautiful baby girl, and it sucks because everytime I see her I'm reminded of him.

Everything reminds me of him, my apartment, my car, my bed... EVERYTHING! I need some help on getting over him. I know he's no good for me, but I can't help constantly thinking about him. He was the love of my life!!

I cheated on her with several women and since she found out She's having cyber-sex while trying to pick out local guys to meet to get even with me.She says what she's doing is none of my bussiness. At first, I agreed to it, but I'm having a tough time dealing with my jealosy. She says Im just selfish and I want my cake and eat it too. She says she will have her revenge-it's the only way she can ever get over my cheating on her. She's been a wonderful wife to me.She did not deserve what I did to her.I feel very insecure that when she does take on someone else,I'll lose her for good. I dont have the power or ability to stop her from doing what she's intent on doing, and I KNOW I deserve it. Tell me please-how do I handle the thought of her being with another man-and how do I win her love back? Or is that now out of the question and I shouldn't even hope for mercy? I deserve this-Right?

I have been married for a year and a few months. I love my husband very much. I plan on spending the rest of my life with him. My question though is, is it normal to not want to have sex sometimes?

I knew of an agency in Baltimore that provided legal services/divorces by law students free of charge. Looking for this same type of legal service in Tampa, Florida.

I caught my husband cheating last summer while I was traveling for my job. She was the single mother of a child my husband coached in little league. She burned up his cell phone day and night leaving messages I could not repeat in public as recently as February. Her son is not playing little league this year; however, she is showing up at the ball park frequently (now with her fiance of 2 months). I have maintained myself at the ball park but I really want to speak my peace and get it out of my system. Any ideas......?

After three weeks of separation, it has been two weeks since my husband came back home. There have been no fights but there still is a huge wall between us. At this point, I still do not know where we are going with our relationship (if anywhere). I have tried talking to him and he just shuts me out. I have been trying to be patient and trying to give him space however, I have no idea where our relationship is going. He has refused therapy. How much time should I give him to decide what he wants and speak up?

I am doing some research for two very dear friends of mine who are having a difficult time. I recommended that they seek counseling, and they said “ok, so who do we call?” I found that I had my stock “seek counseling” advice and little more of substance to offer. I’d like to make some recommendations to them, but I don’t know how to sort out a qualified form an unqualified councilor. What I think they need (not that I have a clue, I mean I’m a carpenter! What do I know?) is a mediator. Someone who can facilitate open discussion. Their paths have clearly diverged, now I think they need to figure out whether or not they are possibly going to link back up, or at least run parallel in the future. Thank you in advance for your help.

My husband and I each have seperate houses that we live in while we are working or whatever. When we are on off-time, we live in our house that we own together. We love each other like you would not believe and have two young children (one is not biologically his). The problem is whenever we are apart we hear **** about eachother and it causes fights. We know it's not true, but we still acknowledge it!!! Should we all just move in together all the time so there is no more 'rumors' to address??

How can I build my self esteem to a normal level after years of having it broken down?

2006-06-12 08:39:32 · 11 answers · asked by Anonymous

I'm married, 3 years but been together for 10 years.

For a few months now I have not been sexually attracted to my husband. I still LOVE sex and I want it every day just that I don't want it from my husband.

A few weeks ago I met a guy at work. We are only co-workers and have not been anything more. But I am lusting for him in a strong way.

I want to be with him. Not that I want a relationship, but I just want to be with him sexually.

I know I shouldn't be with him. I don't want to mess up my marriage but I am becoming very pent up and everytime I see my co-worker I want him more and more.

I need help. How can I get over this feeling without acting on it. I know that if I could be with him without my husband finding out and without ruining my marriage I would.

Help!!

My question, in your very first love relationship, when you broke up or if you broke up after you found him cheating, the next real love relationship you have, do you hold back a little bit of yourself so you won't get hurt again? If you do or did, for how long? Or are you still holding back a bit after many years?

My ex just informed me that she's stripping at a local club on weekends when my son is with me (every other). This decision is the latest in a series of questionable ones she has made vis-a-vis our child - she moved her boyfriend in before the divorce was final, then moved him out/back in again. She claims the job is out of necessity and to avoid our son having to do some kind of day care after school - yet she goes out and buys a BMW and plans a cruise with the boyfriend next week. I think the decision is wrong on many fronts - it puts her (my son's mother) at risk due to the many dangers of the work environment, it exposes him to it potentially (i.e., stalkers), and it raises the possibility that he finds out his mother is a stripper (and all of the attendant psychological possibilities that may follow). She doesn't see anything wrong with it. I think all of my son's support group (grandparents, aunts, godparents) should know and am considering going for custody. Help!?

I posted a question a while ago and the answers were very informative. I need to know though, if My in-laws are good resources here. My husband has mesed up many times by getting drunk and calling me names and telling me I am crazy, punching a hole in the wall, walking home drunk because he didn't want to leave a party when I did, coming home at 4am,shooting my cat....my inlaws don't approve of his actions and have told him so, but they all think I should drop it and go on with life. your opinion?
