she doesn't want to listen. We live in a neighbourhood that once was decent, but is now gone to druggies on the left and right of us.. I am waiting for spring so I will move out of this neighbourhood.. I wonder why she is acting like this when I raised her properly, but on the other hand, as a child she has always been hard headed. My automatamatom is straighten up or I will have to walk away. It hurts very much, because it is my children. She says she is not doing anything, but I have seen many questionable evidences.

my wife and i are seperated and got kids (3 girls ages: 14, 11, 9) My wife and I were pretty young when we had the oldest. we were 20 yrs. old. So needless to say that my wife is still pretty young so she relates real well with them especially the oldest. My wife is a good mother but since we've had our problems she's changed. Her views about things are different she's become more opinionated as well as arguementativeirst thing she did was tell my kids about our problems. I said not to do that. That they are our daughters not her friends! Now she let the oldest have a boyfriend, so she's on the phone all hours of the night. She's always gone. They are starting to get really sarcastic and I feel she's letting them grow up way too fast! The problem is since we're not together right now I really don't know what's going on there. Now she's got the kids looking at me through her eyes so when i see them don't want to yell at them. How do I stop this mad woman from letting them act older?

I'm in relationship with a girl, which my mom hates - this caused my moving out abroad with my gf. after 3 months she hasn't changed at all - still mean about my relationship, and probably still ready to do EVERYTHING to keep me away from my girl. Christymas is coming and I'm back in my city, which my mom doesnt know about. I told her we'll meet in Christmas Eve. my grandparents aways organise dinner and I'm not sure if I should go. First of all I hate going there, coz it's never like real Christmas-presents are bought coz they should be, there are laways fights during the dinner and always some end up upset angy or something. doesn't sound like nice Christmas dinner, right? what's more it may be even worse for me,coz anyone from my family (except my dad) knew about my moving abroad with my gf.till now they don't know why I went away and 1st thing I'll have to deal with will be anger and mean comments about the situation. there's also the problem with my mom. she doesn't know yet that I'm

Once me and my brother were telling "yo mama" jokes in the living room, and my Mom evidently overheard us, and actually thought we were talking about her, so she slapped my brother in the face. True story.

Before you guys start yelling this has nothing to do with me being racist because I am NOT racist. However my father's family is very racist and I have to constantly hear about home my mother is a N***** lover ... I really do not believe that blacks and whites should mix because I have seen some of my closest friends go through loads of problems and where we live when they figure out what my mom is doing then she could be in lots of danger. What should I do??

Last month my grandfather passed away and my grandma went to stay at her sister's while we took care of his things. While going through his closet we found a box filled with envelopes and letters from my grandma's cousin. The letters make it quite evident that grandpa was having an affair with the woman until the day he died, even suggesting that he was going to divorce my grandmother and marry her cousin. My grandmother loved my grandfather very much and now we have a dilemna, should we show grandma the letters or should we just keep it a secret?

who lives outside of state. The only people that qualify for that right now are my parents and a mentally handicapped brother I have who I love very much. The ultimate reason/argument/excuse he uses is that he and his family don't send gifts to people outside of state, they only send greeting cards. And I don't have anything against that, I don't send gifts to all my relatives b/c that would be thousands of dollars. But he should have nothing against me sending a gift to my parents and a gift to my brother. Or if not, a gift for all of them. THey wouldn't mind not receiveing a gift, b/c before I got married we were poor and we really didnt have money to give each other too many gifts, we just did meaningful stuff together. But now I have a job and can more than afford to get a small gift and he's giving me such a hard time about it and won't compromise one bit. The real reason he doesnt is b/c he doesnt like my dad at all, but that is no reason not to let ur wife get them gifts

Since my younger brother was born 18 years ago me and my step father have never gotten along. You see my step father is from the middle east and he thinks women basically should roll out the red carpet for men. So my step father has always shown favoritism to my younger brother. Anything my brother did was right but if I made a mistake i was dead wrong and was punished.I remember as a teenager going over to my grandmothers crying about the unfair treatment. My mother did the best she could because #1 he made her quit her job and #2 my mom has rheumatoid arthritis. Now i that i am grown and have moved away from home I am much happier. I do not speak to my step dad at all because he is such a chauvanist. I am worried that my little 8 yr old sister will be treated the same way i was because she is a female. However, I promised her that she could live with me one day. My mom beggs me to reconnect with me step dad, but i can't because he irks me with his sexist remarks. What should i do?

I am a working father with the three most important women in my life, my wife and two daughters, aged 17 and 11.

My wife has had to work outside of our home state, so she hasn't been home a lot lately. I love my daughters very much, but lately, my eldest one seems to have an issue with wearing low rise pants, or just pants without any belts every so often. As a result, her butt crack/ underwear is exposed. Frankly, her sister and I are tired of getting "mooned" at or seeing what color underwear she has on a particular day.

However, it just seems a little...awkward for me to explain the crack problem to her.

My eldest is an honors student and plays tennis for her school and does some community service. Me and her are almost like the best of friends, so she is by no means a "bad kid". I just want to ensure she dresses properly to avoid being seen as some sort of "object".

Any ideas on how I should bring this topic up to my eldest over dinner or something?

Thanks for your time.

My younger son and his very first girlfriend started very young. She was 15 and he was 14 They had a baby when she was 17 and he was 16, Yes I tried to keep them from doing this, I put him in christian boarding school. But he did have weekends off and school holidays off and she got pregnant & they had a son.Any way she wanted him out of the bording school so they could get marriedbut I wanted him to graduate high school first. They did get married when she was 20 and he was 19. They had another son.Who passed away at 13 days before his 2rd birthday due to pneumonya. They divorced soon after. She has remarried and won't let me see my grandson and neither can my son. My son could if he could afford a lawyer but he has child support and another daughter by his next marriage.I was told by someone who used to be her friend but is no longer her friend because she bragged to this friend that she has turned my grandson against me as well and he hates me. I saw him and he turned his head.

i was going over 2 my house from my grandparents house,2 get something, when this white car just the size of a chrysler drives by me,w/ 2 men inside,as i'm about to step off the sidewalk & on to the street.i'm thinking,& u have to drive by right then?.i knew immediately what was happening.i'd seen the car down at the end of the street just waiting,w/ its headlights on.i hurried across the street,& once there went over 2 my 60-lb half pit bull male pup (who has a really sweet temperment, half bird dog),& unchained him.by this time the car had turned the corner, gone half way down 2 the fork in the street,& had turned around just as i was turning 2 go in2 my house w/ my dog,Bruce.i went in,w/ Bruce, got whatever it was i wanted,& left.i chained my dog back up,& then went back 2 my grandparents house.the car was back down @ the house where it had started.my parents r going out of the country on a trip for 11 days,& i dont know what 2 do.i've told them what happened.
