she doesn't want to listen. We live in a neighbourhood that once was decent, but is now gone to druggies on the left and right of us.. I am waiting for spring so I will move out of this neighbourhood.. I wonder why she is acting like this when I raised her properly, but on the other hand, as a child she has always been hard headed. My automatamatom is straighten up or I will have to walk away. It hurts very much, because it is my children. She says she is not doing anything, but I have seen many questionable evidences.

At 21 she should be on her own. You keep enabling her bad behaviour.

Have a heart to heart talk and see what she wants in her life. Introduce the idea of being on her own and work up a plan to get her there.

You don't want to abandon her. SO Tell her that you want to help her get on her feet by finding a place to call her own and if she doesnt have a job help her find a better than normal job.

You have to be careful to make sure your words and actions are not done in an attacking way. You don't want her defensive.

first of all she is 21!.. its about time for her to be accountable for her mistakes instead of you covering her.... we all have self servival instincts that kick in when needed.. if you raised her with a good upbringing hopefully she will make the right choices. you will always be her parent and should be there in times of need but it sounds like its time for her to grow up and you to quit being MOMMY!!!
