You have to decide what is important to you.
If your family is the important part of your life then you will make time for them.
If you are like me and found that it was better to stay away then the job becomes the important part of life and the family is neglected.
We are the ones to decide and we are the ones that make excuses.

Cutting down on time to watch television. I make it a point not to watch TV for more than two hours, out of whih half an hour is for news. We eat dinner together and we play with kids for an hour before we go to bed. We do not go out much but at least once a month we make it a point to spend a weekend together.

I have regular weekends to be spent completely with my family. I sit with my daughter and discuss with her on her experiences in her class / school. Besides I do speak with her almost daily for some time about her days experiences. I ensure that I have joint meal with my wife, if possible, with my children too, sit together and enjoy the meal on weekends

THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE TIME FOR FAMILY IS TO
DECIDE TO PROVIDE TIME TO FAMILY
STEPS:
1. PUT IT IN UR TODO LIST
2. SET TARGETS FOR NUMBER OF QUALITY HOURS SPENT WITH FAMILY
3. EVALUATE EVERY MONDAY FOR ACHIEVEMENT OF TARGET
4. EVALUATE EVERY MONTH FOR PROGRESSIVE TARGETS
you can never miss these hours after practising it for 3 months.
PS: Let this technique be with you not to share with your family; it owould be counter productive.
