First of all where do you live that it is ok to go 100 mph?! In any case going that much over the speed limit is wreckless driving so she should definitely face vehicular homicide charges. I also think they should throw child endangerment on top of that since she had her daughter with her. I am sorry about your grandmother but like I always say God will get her and she can't run from him.

I'm sorry for your loss. It is truly disgusting that irresponsible drivers are causing fatalities on our roads today. What disgusts me the most is the fact that SHE ENDANGERED THE LIFE OF HER DAUGHTER. I mean it's bad enough to be driving at that speed alone, but in the presence of a minor?! It's ludicrous. This woman should be jailed for manslaughter for killing your nanna, and have her parenting rights taken away from her for putting her daughter's life at risk. Truly disgusting. I'm really sorry to hear this all. :(

Unfortunately the laws protect the person who caused the accident. If you try to do anything to them, YOU go to jail.
What you need to do is talk, on this site, to groups, to any service in your city where there is people to listen to you. Keeping your anger and pain inside will not do anything to help you.
You need to say goodby to your grandmother. She would not want you to be in such pain and anger.
You should remember that woman, by living, will be torn with pain and guilt for the rest of her life as to what she did to your grandmother. And THAT is more justice than anything you can do. Even her daughter will never forget that day.
Hope this helps.

I'm not the judge or the jury, but I'd think she should get something for vehicular manslaughter.
You a grieving terribly. Find someone to talk to. A counselor, a clergyman, or a psychologist.

My little sister got killed by a man who was driving under the influence but wasn't legally drunk. She was 13 and he didn't get any jail time.
Yeah, I think she should get charged and convicted, but because she's a woman and a mother she'll probably get sympathy and get away with it.

I am very sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. The driver who hit her car should get 10 years in prison and no driving for life.
