I can not make the decision! My husband and I are trying to purchase a house for our children. We could spend a bit more and buy a house in a nicer nieghborhood, safer, better schools for the kids, nicer house, nicer area to live in, less work to fix the house up. But I would probally have to work full time with the chance that my husband might eventually do better income wise someday or we could buy a lesser house in a not as nice nieghborhood, more crowded, less privacy, less of a school system, house would need work, but I could be home when my kids get off the bus. This decision is so hard, because I want both for my children!! They seem okay right now with me working full time but I worry when they reach 1st/2nd grade, that I won't be able to take them to any after school activities because I will be working. How will they play sports? Help!!

Seperated now, but seeing each other regular and speaking many times every day. We love each other, but her depression has taken it's toil. Finally got on medication and seems to be doing much better, and were getting along very well now.
Problem why seperated is that she is always down, pessimistic and difficult running down everything and me. We live in my house that was mine before. She insist on moving so the house will be hers too.
Two Questions: Do you think that is a major issue with her or just an excuse? Will the medication straighten her out so that we can actually resolve the other issues in our marriage?

Me and my boyfriend are not married but i love his family so much, (they like me too) his mom and dad got a divorce many years ago and both are remarried to wonderful people. But i also have my family, and i love them very much too, except it's hard to split the time with them because they live about an hour away from us and all my other families. So my boyfriends families are convienitly right down the road. I would love to eventually have everyone over to our house for the holidays but we live in an apartment right now and thats not possible considering the size of each family. I was just hoping to get some feedback on how everyone else deals with this problem. Me and my boyfriend get in arguements about it regularly around this time, and all I want to do is make everyone happy, and I know that's not always possible. Please help me out if you can.

There's this woman I know - I met her over the summer and I suspect that she's been sexually involved with her brother for some time. Her family has a history of incest (she told me her uncles repetedly raped her mom when they were kids)

So it didn't suprise me when I got the suspicion that she and her younger brother had been sleeping together since they were kids (she's 34, her brother's 32 and did a year in jail for raping a woman).

Basically, she treated him more like a boyfriend than a brother - and he was a very possessive boyfriend (he was the only person allowed to visit her at her apartment - she wasn't allowed to have any other visitors - the super couldn't even come up to fix stuff, her brother would do it instead)

How common is this? Are their a lot of women in incestuous relationships with their brothers?

My name is Stephen Eugene Williams and I was born in Chicago, IL on January 4, 1952 and I have never met or even seen a picture of my mother. Her name at the time of my birth was Elizabeth Mae Williams which was a maiden name, she was 21 years old and had a three year old boy whos name I do not know. My fathers name was "legally Omitted " from my birth certificate. I was put up for adoption but was never adopted and grew up in a foster home. The ILLINOIS Dept of Children and Family services has an open investigation to locate my mother. They lost track of her in 1962 after they gave her a photo of me at age ten and told her how I was doing. My older brother was not put up for adoption and she was raising him at that time. I harbor no ill feelings because I feel I was loved by my foster mother. I am now a grandfather and I would like some closure. Can anyone help me to locate my mother and brother with only the information provided above? I thank all the people that have tried to help.

I have been suppose to be collecting child support for about 12 years. But the father that is suppose to be paying, only pays when it is good for him. I have had him to court numerous times, and as we speak right now, there are bench warrants out on him..Problem is, he lives in another state, so my state won't go and get him. I am at the end of my rope with Domestic Relations. He owes me over $12,000. How do I collect what is owed to me? What is my next best step? I was hoping for some type of company or something that did this, or should I hire a lawyer?

My dad is a Packer's fan, but isn't really big into Packer's clothing.
He doesn't work on cars (or have any interest) and works inside an office all day.
He is 45 years old, and I was wondering if any dads out there have aany clue on what they would want or suggest.
For the past few years he hasn't given us a list, so he's been getting crap presents from me and my brothers.
We want to get him at least something decent.
Is there anybody out there that has any suggestions?

My girlfriend and I are very innocent, we are not looking for anything sexual in our relationship but our parents (more mine) dont understand that. We would love to sleep together in a bed but not in the sexual way. I have always found parents good people looking for the best but this is just down right frusterating and I hate being accused of something I don't do. How can I make my parents more relaxed about this?

OK me and my wife are having a serious argument about our 7 year old daughter. She has been going to gymnastics at the local Y for a couple of years but she told me recently she would rather take the martial arts class they offer there. The class is a good mixture of both boys and girls and the childrens classes are seperate from the adult classes. The instructor is a young ldy about 25 who is a 3rd degree Black Belt ans sem to really enjoy working with the kids. She stresses that what they are taught is only to be used for self defence, and she talks to them about setting goals, self disipline. I think this would be good for my daughter but her mother doesn't agree she says it's just teaching them to fight period!! is there anyone out there that can give her some good examples of why she should change her mind?
She says she will go by the majority rulling as to wether or not to let our girl take the classes.

Here's the deal; the love of my life Lauren is visiting her father and brother who live out of state. They are trying to get her to leave me and move 1,700 miles away. Her dad is basically offering her a free ride to do this. He is offering to pay her way with just about everything, send her back to college, pay her bills, car etc... He has never met me, so he doesn't understand that his daughter is my life. I would walk to the ends of the world to get her back. He doesn't like the fact that I am in the entertainment industry and I can be a 'has been' any minute. While I do well now, that's not good enough for him. I set up an e-mail address for you all to send letters to, laigner06@comcast.net, These are for her to read. I would GREATLY appreciate it if you could say stuff like, "Kevin thinks the world of you. We are all pulling for you two", "Stay with Kevin" etc... Anything reallyCan you also mention that you love the film, "On the line" She has just learned 1 of my 'writing names'.

He told my aunt that he doesn't think that my youngest sister is his daughter. My aunt asked him y did he take her then? This was his answer, he said he took my sister because she looked like her mother. What do you think about this? And this is a completely true story.

Would really like something different and unique. I realize this has a lot to do with personal taste but would love to get some ideas from Mommy's out there. Wouldn't mind some kind of keepsake.
She has a pendant with the boys photos in it already. She has the Mommy pendant from Lenox. Just would be neat to get something that stands out. Something that says 'Love, Thankfulness, Memories, Security'. The way I know she makes our boys feel...

Her birthday always shadows New Years so this year I would like for her to feel special... :-) What do you think?

He thinks he has done nothing wrong though he hasnt gave a toss for his daughter who was pregnant up til 3 weeks ago, he has threatened to beat me up twice and last week he came round to argue with us that we were in wrong, not to visit his grandson, who by the way, he will never see again as long as i live, i eventually had to throw him out our flat by force. He blames me for pushing my partner away from him, but it has been me looking after her throughout the pregnancy and he made no effort to help us when we were homeless or when we moved into our flat given to us by the council. How can i make sure he doesnt make contact with our son, and stop him from upsetting my partner anymore than he has?

My brother died on Sunday 26th November and while I have accepted that he has gone I can't greive. I have a little cry every now and then but that is all. I know that people are different and that they greive in different ways.

When I found out on Sunday I was all over the place with different emotions. On the way to his house where my sister-in-law was I was angry becasue people where driving so slow and I just wanted to get to my brother. When I got there I burst into tears and then went into shock. Now two days later I am holding my own as it where and staying strong for my mum, who still has not come to terms with it and my dad, who is trying to be brave and then just collapses in a heap and sobs.

What shoud I do?

Ok I have been hearing stories of many parents who only let their child on the internet or computer for an hour or 30 minutes a day. I have been trying to understand why parents restrict their children on so many things. I hear all this talk about parents being afraid of online predators. YES there are online predators lurking everywhere online. It is the parents job to raise their children the right way, what is taking every single thing away that can possibly hurt a child doing to them? It's making them weak.

If mommy takes takes control of a childs life they can NEVER be independant succesfully. A smart child online who knows right from wrong would easily know not to meet with someone they met online. The easy way out is to put a magnifying glass on your child that or block every single website that has contact with the outside world. There is good and bad things online but when they move out and on their own they will find these things anyway.
