My mother and I have had problems since I was 16. We would constantly fight (about the way she treated my father or the fact that I was not allowed to visit my fathers side of the family.) The last time we saw each other, she hit me (not the first time) and said that I ruined her life and she wanted to forget I ever existed so I moved out and never looked back. Well, 5 years later she finds out I'm pregnant and wants to be in my life again. She is telling her family and friends that it's not fair to her to keep her grandchild away and of course they call me saying what a bad person I am for excluding her from my pregnancy. Do you think she has any rights what-so-ever to see my child when he's born?

He has expressed his disappointment with one of my sisters for not attending regularly. I just feel we are all grown adults and this is still treating us like we are kids under his roof? Am I wrong?

When it's hot and humid he doesn't like to wear underwear. I have seen his butt crack acouple of times when he is doing gardining. He travels for work. When I saw him pack for his trip I saw him take only 2 underwear. He said that some of his Jeans are torn around the back pocket area and people might see his underwear. But if doesn't wear any underwear then they could see his butt. Is it normal for man to choose to not to wear any underwear? I never asked him about this because I don't want to sound silly.

Does anyone else think like me?

I think older people should be encouraged to learn how to use the computer...Not for just banking but:

If they live alone...often that is very cruel ...so by even being able to use a site like this...they could spend time, helping others...

Giving all that life experience...and it would help to combat being lonely. They don't have to buy a computer...just use the Library as I do!...I have one at home, my 14yr old is always on...lol.

But, also they may not feel well and can even buy food on line, delievered to their home for less than $10.oo (well in australia)..
Not sure if other countries...and they can stay in touch with family...

I say lets teach one person over 50!!! to use a computer!
Whos with me.!!!

Why do parents have such a pain-in-the-*** tendency to say things like "You have no idea" or "You'll understand when you're older"? It seems like they think we're total morons. Why do they do it so much?

I am against this and ashamed of him, but I dont want to let him know how i feel because he obviously is going through enough right now, so what do you think I should say so that he thinks im supportive of the whole situation?
