Fortunantly, I come from a family where my dad is Surgeon and my mom is a Nurse....so I'm lucky to have come from a family with money.....and they are paying for my college tuition at a prestigious university....so what is your opinion? DO you think college kids are spoiled rich kids too?

At the moment she lives with her mom & moms boyfriend approx 15mins walking distance from us & my husband sees her at twice per week.
She doesn’t get on with her moms boyfriend and seemingly her mum favours him over her. Consequently my stepdaughter feels unloved by her mother and wants 2be with us.
Her mom has 2 other children &as my stepdaughter is the eldest child she seems to treat her more like and adult rather than the 11 year old she should be!
There has been a 6 year feud between myself and my husbands ex partner over the way that his daughter is being brought up.
Now, my husband has asked whether it would be practical for his daughter to move in with us! It seems like the solution, and I know we can give her more than her mother can but,as much as she hates being with her mom she idolises her and no matter what I did for her,her mom would always be on a pedestal.Do I bring up my husbands daughter - knowing that I will always be 2nd best 2 someone I detest or do I say yes

Several people suggested consuling when I listed my previous questions, but I only hit (well, shoved) my grandson ONCE and that was by mistake so..., plus the other time I didn't hit him. I can't afford to pay for that! Do I really have to get into concculing? Do I NEED IT?

Do you think more women hater their fathers? He's so controlling and he is always treating me like I'm a chlid. NA dhe's always saying that I can't go out because I'm a girl and he's always treating me like I'm weaker. I'm more of a man than my little brother, who cries like a baby. I don't need a father.

In India where "Mata Pita Guru Deivam" ,meaning Mother, Fatherand Teacher should be considered equivalent to God.This value system is slowly disappearing. When elderly parents emotionally and physically need support, why are they being dumped to fend for themselves.Particularly mothers find it too hard.

a lot of times (lately) I find myself daydreaming about the kind of appartment I'd like to have; something simple but stylish along with my fave pet - an American fuzzy lop bunny, :))

the problem, as always, is financial, :)) i know i may never have what I desire but I just can't stop thinking about it.

how do I deal with this little escapist fantasy

(in order to make this happen I'd have to write a bestseller or something, :))

thanks

My brother wants me, him, and his girlfriend to all go to therapy together. Her and I do not get along and she basically treats me like ****. She talks **** about me to everyone. I've done nothing wrong, except express that my brother deserves better (she's a complete *****). He is blind to all of this and now him and I barely talk. When it gets to the point of "therapy" isn't it time for him to call it quits? Which relationship should be more important to him?

My dad died on Sept. 18th this year at 3am. I got a call at 3am from some random guy and he told me that he was at the hospital with my mom an that my dad had passed away. I'm about 3 hours away at college, so I wasnt there. But my question is how can I help my mom? Shes all alone in our big house with only my dog there and my dad had earned 5 times more than her. and she has to pay for my college as well as my brothers out of state tuition and apartment. Plus shes got to deal with probate and all this stuff my dad had like stocks, and property in North Carolina as well as a farm in Ohio. And I just want to be there for her but I cant cause Im stuck at college. I want to know how I can be there for her...

My younger brother is in the army & has been sent to Aufganistan for 6months. It's his 20th birthday next month and I'm not sure what to send out to him. I'm going to buy him somthing fo when he gets back, but still want to send something now. I don't really want to send anything of value & whatever i do send has to fit into a shoe box.
What would you want if you were him?

I say my 12 year old who I might add is very very grown up, she cooks cleans irons and washes is ok to stay alone from school for about 2 hrs only to get changed have some food and feel all grown up. But after 2 hrs she must go next door to the nieghbours house or my nieghbour who is female and a wonderful mate of mine would come in my house. But I need to know the law if she is to do this as I will not break it by even one minute. I live in the uk what is the legal age?

My sister in law is very annoying. She keeps asking me questions about my baby then she will put her input on things and shes always trying to find something negative in what I tell her. Then she calls people on the phone and makes up lies.Shes very bossy and shes a broken record so I quit talking to her on the phone now she calls my mom up and asks a bunch of questions about me. She doesnt know how to mind her own business. My husband doesnt talk to her either. She has started alot of trouble.Shes been trying to interfere with my family.I don't want to deal with this anymore. How should i handle this?

I feel that somehow my mom is still looking over ME, although she's died long time ago... what should I do then?

Even though she's left me behind, I believe that she's still there out there... somewhere over the rainbow.... What could I do then to make here really proud and happy for me? Is my feeling here normal?
