I feel that somehow my mom is still looking over ME, although she's died long time ago... what should I do then?

Even though she's left me behind, I believe that she's still there out there... somewhere over the rainbow.... What could I do then to make here really proud and happy for me? Is my feeling here normal?

I am so glad to have come across this question. My mom just passed away less then two months ago, and I have the same feeling. It's not just a feeling though she is there looking out for you, making sure your safe and doing ok. You don't have to worry about trying to make her really happy and proud of you I am sure that she already is. Your feeling is completely normal don't worry your not crazy or nothing. If you and you mother had a strong bond then the reason she is still there is because even though she is gone that bond is still there. Sometimes when you need your mom to talk to and shes not there to turn to. Still talk to her because even though she can't answer back she hears you. Don't do nothing live your life normally. Be happy that she is still there with you. My mom used to always tell me that she would be there with me and for me no matter what happens and I believe it to still be true because even though she is gone I still feel a strong connection with her, it seems that you still do with your mother also. She hasn't left you behind because she will always be there with you. Within your heart your memories and even though your mother has been taken away from you. No one can take away the love and memories you have of your mother. Just always remember that.

I believe that we can pass back and forth in front of a plant, and the plant can only to a minute degree comprehend our existence. I believe, in the same way, your mother is still with you, and you only get an intimation that she is present. Just as you occupy a higher kingdom than that of the plant, your mother now occupies a higher kingdom than you do.

Enjoy her presence. Do things to serve mankind. Pray for her progress in the next world, just as she can pray for your progress, here.

Be happy for her, there. She's in a much better place than we are, here. She will be happy, there, if you are happy, here.

yes ur feeling is absolutely normal.. sometimes when u suffer a tremendous loss u tend to feel this way... and even though it might sound spooky to u ..she IS watching over you all the time.. it is sometimes said that when the deceased loves someone beyond comprehension they find someway or the other to connect back to their loved one..if i might suggest.... u should do something that she wanted u to do in her lifetime....like being a good student.. getting a nice job.. being happy in life... or taking care of someone or something.... do something that will make u be recognised as her son or daughter...nothing makes a parent prouder than being recognised at the person's parent....so i wish u best of luck.. this is all u can do for her.. and believe me... she will be more than happy.

The feeling that your mother(soul) is still there, is just in your mind...

Her memories will be here forever..

Her body returns to dust.

Her soul is "sleeping" and will be awaken when Jesus comes.

And her spirit is already with the GOD(according to Bible, and my belief as Christian).

Perhaps, its the memories that watching over you.

Up to now you still long for her, of course.

But you have to deeply accept our life cycle.

She is gone and just her memories will be with you forever.

ACCEPTANCE..that's the best thing you should do.

The best way you can memorialise your mother and make her happy, would be to identify some of her skills / traits that you admired and introduce them into your life, and carry on that legacy...

think that she's really still around and don't do anything that would make her miserable and ruin your reputation. strive to become a somebody in this world where being a nobody is becoming an accepted trend.
