The ages of 11 to about 20 are really tough. First they are going through physical changes and growing up. Then emotionally they learn to deal with things on a different level. They love and be loved, get hurt, make friends, lose friends. So many things go on and you just have to be there when they are ready to talk. Just listen and always remind them that you love them.
There will be plenty of bad days, bad moods, and you just have to take it one day at a time.
Remember to maintain stable rules, boundaries, and discipline methods. Before you know it you will be on the other side and very proud of your child.

There is a small window...

It's between birth and 24 years. But each year the problems evolved... they are all tough! I say 24 because thats my oldest ones age... I don't anticipate at 25 it will get any easier though.

There are no easy years raising kids!!! Accept it! LOL.

To me, once the "terrible twos" start they continue until the 20's...No, I think the teen years are the toughest both for the kids and the parents...The kids are trying life out for themselves, and don"t like to be told anything, because as teens they have lived and experienced it all...and because they are trying to be independent of their parents emotionally---and it's tough on parents who have been there, done that because the path they once experienced is what they try and keep the kids from having to go through...
