my little girl can be so rude and angry at times, shouting, swearing... is it the age or is it her natural character ?

at age five our children are trying so hard to fit in and to be "big girls"...your daughter is mimicking people in her life..We all should try to be aware when our kids are around but i too am guilty of swearing in front of my 5 year old..you must try to to show your daughter how a real big girl should carry herself and tell family and friends to do the same..also a big thing to break the swearing and shouting praise her when you find that she is acting appropriately. She wants attention..make it positive and she will get through this stage..my daughter did...good luck and hang in there

Her swearing like that is a reflection of her raising, but I did hear that the worst temper tantrums are between the ages of 5 and 6.
It should pass by 7. People need to be stop swearing around her though. These are the most important years of her life.

Any kid can be irritable like adults can get. Lack of sleep, hungry, bored ...but swearing and shouting? That sounds like she is becoming a product of her environment. Kids pick up the actions of the adults in their life so easily. Nip it in the bud now...or later it will be a real problem...

Her swearing is unacceptable and should be dealt with immediately. How could you even suggest that this is natural? She needs some discipline, do her a favor and start being a mother who expects better from her child.

It's her training or maybe I should say lack of training.
