i grew up with my mother and was adopted and only knew my step father... just kinda curious and wondering if anyone had any pointers?

i have a 5 year old son starting school. he is complaning that there are 6 and 7 year olds that are scoring better on quizes and perform better in gym class because their parents held them back. it is a minor problem but seems somewhat unfair. in the future it could play out much severely. should this be allowed?

I'm in college & I went home this weekend. All she did while I was there was talk to him on the phone in her bedroom with the door shut and IM him on her computer. I have four younger siblings, and she's neglecting them because of this; I'm very worried about them. She rarely pays attention to them--things like feeding them, washing their clothes, etc. The youngest is 11. She's divorced (18 mo).
I'm especially worried because this guy seems very jealous, and I know that's an early sign of abuse. I picked up the phone while they were talking Saturday, and I heard him laugh at her when she got angry/upset about something. He always wants to know who she's talking to or what internet sites she's on. She doesn't know I listened to them on the phone; I lied when she asked because I'm scared of her. She doesn't listen to me, even if I speak calmly. She blows up in my face, won't let me come over and see my siblings. I can't talk to her about it; what can I do? I'm angry & scared.

I am in the market to buy a mattress. Money is not really an issue. I am going for durability, and somthing really comfortable. I hat e pushy sales people and need to be educated a little about the products . I f you know any stores , brands or bed names it would be really helpfull. I live in the LA area. Thanks.

I'm stuck! I am taking any and all (serious) suggestions. I don't want something uber common, but nothing completly off the wall either. So far we are thinking Holden (boy) or Haley (girl) but I'm just not feeling those. Thanks for the help!!

These two women are living with me and my nanny we do not get alone we stay fussing over the phone and water but every time we get into it they call martha when they fell they were right and it seems she get mad at me and i think she dont want me here because my mother died and now i live here and i am preagant and i really don't want to leave martha because i ve been living with her sence i was 6 mts and when she get mad at me i think its because i not here real child then when i miss school she tell me she don't want me inside all day but she let them sleep all day and she fell sorry for them because they have nowere elese to go.what should i do move out or stay in here and face the facts?

My mom is 37 years old. she is not fat at all, she works out and have a nice shaped body. she has pretty good looks and a body, not just for her age, but also overall. she look like 25 years old girl.
My girl friends are saying, i shouldnt try to stop her from doing anything and espacially if she has a body, she should show off and saying i should be a proud of having a hot mom. theyre also saying, if they were that old and have a nice body like that, they would love it and would also love to show that body off...... is it wrong for my mom to wear revealing clothes, she wears shirts with deep necks, that shows major cleavage, tight clothing, short skirts.... and etc, etc..... Hi i am 35 years old and i have a problem, i got married 10 yrs back and also have a kid who is 8 yrs old. 8 yrs back my wife met with an accident and injured her spine and since then she is bed ridden. my husband is very demanding what he says goes i had him arrested 4 years ago for hitting my son by a previous marriage my son then was 24 and my husband 34 my son only dropped the charges cos he said i would be paying the price as my husband would have to pay him compensation since then he has called my daughter who is now 18 and myself names and can be very abusive to us so much so that now my daughter is moving away to live with her boyfriend i still have 2 smaller children who are from this marriage they are 12 and 10 and i am now worried how he is going to be with them he wont even make a coffee he is now getting his 10 year old to make it he swears a lot at us and makes me cry a lot i would love to leave but i own half of our house and he said he would let all my animals loose if i did it would be easier if he would go but he says he has nowhere to go so we seem to be lumbered with him he says i have got to work more when my daughter leaves to pay more bills any advice........

I know I asked this before. I don't think I elaborated well enough. My wife, whose in her 40's masturbates with a vibrator. She seems to want it more then me. However she does tell me all the time that I satisfy her. I never turn her away when she wants it, however she turns me away when I want it. She has done it in front of me. Hi, i'm asking this here as i just dont know what else i can do. my family recently suffered a bereavement and my 7 year old son took it quite hard though in the last couple of months seems fine. anyway he was allowed watch this scary film by a silly friends parent and ever since hes been terrified of everything.
He wont go anywhere on his own in the house, if we're downstairs and i go upstairs he follows, if he needs to go to the toilet i've to go with him when hes going to bed i've to stay with him until he falls asleep etc etc and its just getting worse now by the day and i dont know if its to do with the bereavement or wheter it was this scary film or whatever and i feel if i could get to the source of the problem i'd be 1 step closer but nothing is working.

Please has anybody any suggestions on how i can conquer this. we're very close and i've tried talking to him about it and he we've tried a few different things but to no avail he says he cant help it

I'm desperate now!!!
