I'm stuck! I am taking any and all (serious) suggestions. I don't want something uber common, but nothing completly off the wall either. So far we are thinking Holden (boy) or Haley (girl) but I'm just not feeling those. Thanks for the help!!

You might have a better idea when your child is born. For one of my kids, he just kinda "looked" like his given name. How about Adrian or Rachel?

I've always wanted to name my daughter Taylor and my son Damien. My mother doesn't like Damien because of the whole devil connection. I like Holden but Haley is becoming too common. What about something like Alexia, Paige, Christia or Jordan for a girl and Corey, Antoine, or Jordan for a boy? Good luck!

I don't like Holden, but Hayden is nice. Hayley is waaaay too common for a girl's name these days. I got a book of the top 500 names for boys and girls, and I ignored everything in the first 100.

For a girl I love the name Kaysen, Chloe, Sophie, or Kaylie and for a boy I love the name Jeremiah, Hayden, Isaac or Kaleb.
Have you looked at babynamesworld.com? They have some really interesting names on there that are different but not off the wall like you said.

Do we like H names? Check out these sites. You might find what you are looking for. I have always liked J names myself. I really like the name Julie for a girl and Jeremy for a boy. I am also kind of weird in the sense that I like older names too. I love the names William and Dean for boys. I love the names Helen and Barbara for girls. Everyone likes different names...

well I had to make this decision .. My husband chose all these names I didnt like..... I chose . Morgan Cameron and Zachary... But have you looked through your geneology... there are many interesting names that you can use. lilly for lillian... robbie for robert.. There are web sites that have Irish names that is where I looked... This is hard .. I finally picked Zachary but it wasnt my first choice... I loved the name dallon. faimly said it was stupid then ashland ... that was a stupid name ... then ty from digimon... so look in your faimly history .. mabey there is a last name in there .. like morgan ... or something on the irish childrens names web site.. that you love so much... something will all of a sudden come to you.. i promise.
