this is alittle complicated. Ok every year I set up a christams mission for my 2 little sisters. On christmas eve they get to sneak downstairs to see what "santa" brought and they get to look for clues that "santa" was here. it has been something i do for them every year. they love it. my question is, what else could we do on christmas eve to celebrate "the mission" ? any craft ideas? stories? anything?

So my husband and I bought our very 1st home a few months ago and we had our 2nd party or "get together" last night. I love having family and friends over BUT there is 1 problem. A lot of our family and friends have small children (ages 1-11). How do I get our guests to maintain their kids while visiting without sounding like an uptight *itch? The kids are BRATTY and NOT well behaved. Had I acted the way these kids did when I was their age, my mother would have kicked my *ss to Pluto! At first I thought I was just being anal because this is "our first" house and we OWN it, not like our rental property. Then after I thought, "Who else wouldn't be bothered by kids eating in the livingroom on the NEW furniture and runnning IN and OUT of the house and SCREAMING and CRYING while their parents do NOTHING or say NOTHING about it?" What measures can I take so that our gatherings don't seem like such a burden? I hate being a push over and NEVER saying anything to the parents when this happens.

I was minding my own business taking a dump and going through the wastebasket and found one of her discarded tampons. I yelled to her that I was going to give it to her boyfriend. She came in the bathroom and started yelling at me and all that saying i better not and ofcourse i kidded around with her saying I was and then she tried to get it from my hand so I stood up and we were wrestling and then she stopped and threw my pack of juicy fruit that was on the counter into the toilet. After that, I told her I was just playing around and to prove it i would flush the tampon so i threw it in the toilet but after that I grabbed the juicy fruit pack (unopened) and then flushed the toilet. I waited for the pack to dry and then I pulled out a stick of gum and chewed on it. Man the flavor was ruined! Should I ask my aunt to refund my money for the pack of gum?

My son (age 8) has for a long time had smellly toilet accidents when out playing.
My wife says that he does not know he needs to go, I say that he does not want to come in.
After many years of her talking to him (to no effect) I found out that he has done the same again today after being out with his friends for four hours so I have grounded him for the week.
No playing out any week night. I told him if he cant be trusted to come in he has to stay in.
Now my wife says that what I have does borders on child abuse.
Is she over reacting or am I really that cruel?

I think that if a gay couple are in a stable relationship they should be able to adopt, but alot of ppl would disagree.

All my life my sister has been held up higher than me by my parents, she is older ,she was a popular cheerleader in highschool and I was not. No matter what I do- I could win the noble peace prize and she could get a new job at Taco Bell and they still would look at her accomlishment better than mine. I am now married and my husband is a good sweet man that is so outgoing with my family and my sisters fiance never even talks to them but hey still like him more, I know they love me but I just feel like a second class citizen in that house, can anyone help?
