I just got married and my flower girl is 6. I went to Claire's in the mall, and bought her a tiara/crown with feathers on it, a pink carebear, some fingernail polish, and some Disney Princess stuff. Anything along those lines would be perfect for a 6-year-old.

If you know her really well, you could get something she's into. If you're not sure, my 6 year old really likes dolls that do stuff, "little pet shop" and barbie. I tend to go with the walmart or toys r us gift cards if I'm not very familiar with the little girl.

I find that buying her things that make her feel like a big girl will work. One time I bought a purse and put lip gloss, chewing gum, money or gift card and a little pretend phone in it. You can even put hair brush and a little mirror in there too. I think she will really like that. Good luck with your shopping.

make believe anything like dolls, dress up, one of those play kitchens, etc. The little girl I babysit is 6 and she loves barbie dolls and stuffed animals.
OH!! They make little make-up kits for little girls with like lip glosses and very pale eye shadows...she would love that. I know Beauty Brands sells it.

I don't know of any little 6 year old girl who would'nt want another Barbie w/ Barbie clothes to add to her collection. You can never go wrong with this.

How about a "Barbie" or a "My Little Pony" or somesuch. If she has a rebellious streak, give her something special, but that not everyone will like.

no pets- try something like a bike or find out what she really likes and then meet her half way on that thing or go the whole 150 percent
