My girlfriend wants to go as the ramsey girl. But shes a bit old to play the part. We figure some good makeup will get her in the role.

Can anyone recomend a 3rd party to bring along?

She's a miserable old cow, so it would give me so much satisfaction.
I haven't cracked one off for ages so I've got loads in the tank.
Shall I just say I added too much salt?

How come some people who've had a really awful childhood can make a good and stable life for themselves, get a job, decent hubby etc with no apparent ill effects, yet others who've had the same experiences turn to crime, alcohol, drugs etc? Is it completely down to a person's genes or is it more spiritual than that? I know two people who are sisters and only a year between them, they both had a really awful childhood with a violent father, yet the older one is now going from one violent partner to another, she has 3 kids who she doesn't care about as she's cut off from all her emotions, and she takes drugs, drinks etc. She lost her council home due to spending all her money on drugs. On the other hand her sister is living with her long term boyfriend and has just had a little boy who she clearly loves, and she has a part time job to support her family. Why is it that people grow up so differently from the same experiences? Is it all to do with personality or individual life purpose?

b4 i start this i wanna let ya'll know that i love my mom very much...

...but sometimes i wanna just choke her!!! she's always yelling at me, and she always wants my help with stuff. i am only 15, and she won't really let me hang out with my friends, because she says its too dangerous, she and my father are pastors, and i try to help out where i can, but sometimes she just keeps adding things to my list of things to do, and she never seems satisfied with what i get done. it feels like i have to be perfect because anything less than perfect will piss her off. now i know that my mom loves me, and she doesn't hit me and stuff, but sometimes i feel like i just can't make her happy. now i am a daddy's girl, and i know this andshe knows this. when i am upset about something i confide in him, even that pisses her off cuz she says we taking sides against her. i have an older brother, and he don't help out wit the church at all, he even had a child out of wedlock, but nomatter what, i get it

I love my son. he is in his 30's. I dont always agree with his decisions and tell him. When he has argued with his girlfriend and I think he is being unfair, he gets really angry when I say I think he was a bit harsh. Says I continually bad mouth him. I really cannot condone bad behaviour and wont become a "yes mom". Is that a bad thing? He isnt talking to me now. I wont apologise for "what"?

I know there are methods of doing this without paying sites for this information, and without having to resort to public records which are private. I do not want a ton of scheming internet sites to have to know my families history just because I had to enter it into their database to retrieve some info about my family. However, I would be willing to do so at a legitimate site; I would like to do my own research, if possible.

I have been "raising" my mother since I was about 11. I'm 32 now and I have my own husband and children to take care of. Over the years, I have become the person who my mom makes responsible for all of her happiness or unhappiness. I know that isn't right. My mom is also an alcoholic. Over the years, she has said and done horrific things to me. But at the same time she continues to guilt me and makes me feel terrible. My mom usually talks to me every day. If I am not available to her whenever she wants me, she is upset. I have tried to make myself somewhat less available, but that has only made things worse. Then I hear how I must not appreciate or love her. I suffer from major depression and probably a majority of my own mental health issues stem from her. I can't seem to find the power to stand up for myself and to be assertive without feeling worse. My husband is ready to confront her himself. I just don't know what to do anymore. What do I say to her? Any ideas?

My best friend's brother is almost evil and has threatened him over the years through harassing phone calls at home and work. Finally, my dear friend told me he sent his brother a letter finally (and kindly) asking him to leave him and his family alone. He said he wished him well but he couldn't continue dealing with this roller coater relationship. His crazy brother has now threatened to sue him for upsetting him. Is that possible? I feel so sorry for my friend. He and his family are such nice, loving people. We have formed a circle of love and have tried to assure him he's done nothing wrong. So, can someone sue you because you don't want anything to do with them?

What is the most special thing that your daughter got you or did for you.. something that touched your heart very much..

I have a mother that is 'sick' in the head. She is overbearing and controlling. When I use to live with her, she would take her anger out on me and made me feel bad for arguing with her. She would say: "I've raised you, you un-grateful person" and then threaten to kick me out of the house. Power corrupts absolute power corrupt absolutely, so as you can see, she was 'always right'.

Anyways, one day she made one too many threat and abused her power one too many times. I pack-up my thinks and move out. Now I'm doing great and come home 'once in a while', I have the power to see her, she don't have the power to see me. She don't know where I live, I refuse to let her know.

Now she is trying to make me feel guilty for not sharing me life with her. She abused her power as a mother through out my childhood. So why should I be the proper son if she was not a proper mother. What are your thoughts?
