Being attracted to girls at your age doesn't mean your a lesbian. It is perfectly normal for pubescent girls to go through a time where they are attracted to the same sex, some girls even "expierement" having a few encounters with another girl, that doesn't mean they are lesbian or even Bisexual. Puberty is a time of self discovery and learning. Right now you are no more a lesbian than you are a nun...I say give it at least another five years before you actually "come out" maybe when you've been in a realationship for more than a year or so.

I'd opt for #2 but don't be in too much of a rush. Take some time to get used to the idea yourself and feel out how your family and friends will take the news. They won't be as surprised if you've been discussing gay issues and if anyone will freak, you'll know before you tell them more than they want to know. It isn't being dishonest to keep the information to yourself as long as you don't do anything special to pretend you're straight like get a boyfriend or talk about guys a lot. It's not your fault that people assume that "normal" means straight. It is normal for you to be a lesbian, if that is the way you are.

Coming from a lesbian....let me just say that first of all, if you have never been attracted to boys, then you will not be able to "force" yourself to be. You don't want to end up in a marriage with someone you don't truly want.....don't be someone you are not just to please others....you have to do what feels right to you in your heart of hearts. However, at your young age, you may simply going through a time of curiosity. Don't confuse curiosity with a life-long decision. You are young enough you have plenty of time to decide what you really want and who you really are. The only true piece of advice I can give you is be who YOU are for YOU, and not for anyone else. Make YOU happy.......that is all that matters. Good luck to you sweetie!

I wouldn't analyze yourself yet. Just give yourself time. It's my understanding that all Catholics are taught to feel guilty. Every one I have met feel that way. I personally thinks it sucks, but hey! I wouldn't put that kind of information out there yet until you feel you're certain you're lesbian. Things may or may not change later. Good luck.

Just be accepting of who you are, God is not going to condemn you to hell like the catholic church wants you to believe. If you dont accept yourself for who you are, you will be running from the truth until you do. Good luck dear.

First off being a lesbian doesn't mean you're not normal.
secondly are you going to be happy with yourself trying to be soemthing you're not?On the upside you're still young you could figure out that you're bi and not totally gay....see every cloud has a silver lining.:-)

I'd opt for #2, but, first come to peace with yourself that you are a lesbian, then those you know you can trust.

Good luck; you're perfectly normal.

You should do what you feel is right. Family and friends should learn to accept your decisions. You should force your self to be something you're not.

I think you need to stop feeling Guilty about it first I think you need to make it ok with you before you try to make it ok with anyone eles

Pray to God to do the right thing. There is nothing wrong with being gay, but you have to live a celibate life.
