Because your girlfriend is a spoiled golddigger! A gift now and then is fine, but she needs to support her own shopping habit.

Plot her expenditure on a graph !
My father used to do it with my mother, it was the family joke. He used to bring up with friends and relative so that he could plot the Sainsburys (food) shopping on a graph from his computer.
We can all get carried away with their nesting / domestic and social urges, especially the fairer sex and sometimes it needs to be managed carefully in order so the money can be used to best effect.
Good luck, might be worth buying a copy of Microsoft Money !

If she has spent reasonable amount of money and You love her and want to be with her. Just change your attitude that she goes out shopping to buy new clothes, sexy lingerie, everything to make herself look good for YOU.
But you have to be careful too whether she's ruin your financial situation or not.

p.s. I do love shopping too but my bf hardly paid for anything. Im upset sometime but i still carry on dressing up and looking good for him.

hey friend.....it costs u cos its not the girl its her shoppiong expenses costing u n bothering....but as u hav mentioned ' the best things r free in life....and ofcourse ur '' girlfriend is best thing ever u got in ur life for free, did that cost u anything?, then y bother on her shopping cost anywayz thats not ur gift..its part of hapiness u afford her...nothing is free....even when u sit to discharge ur waste its costs some pressure..rite???

I just love the way the women always have an answer to our questions don`t you? Perhaps if you went out into the countryside one weekend for a change it might change her perspective on things & it would be cheaper.

her money is hers you should stop spending on her .you do her no favours nor yourself.
it will come expected then you'll find that's all she with you for .
just enjoy life with her bye her gifts every now and then pay to go out put not her stuff .
you'll find that respect in each other

If its costing you, its not costing her, therefore its free. The best thing (shopping) is not costing her a penny (free)!!!!!!!!
