My and my Step dad were fighting(I wasn't really fighting) and then my Mom took my side. Then I guess my Dad realized he was wrong and he got pissed and didnt let me go to the show i was going to go to tomorrow.

So why do they get mad when they are wrong?

I have four children and the two oldest kids are always fighting every time i yell i fell like crying like i am doing something wrong with them my 9 year old boy likes to start it all the time with my 13 year old girl and she goes with all the time i would like someone that know what i am going thougt to help.

I live in the NYC area and Im trying to locate my FATHER. All I know is his name which I posted above. I am 25 years old and I don't have a clue who/where my dad is. I would love to find out it has troubled me for a long time. He may be in the Queens area or the 5 boroughs of NY. I am not able to ask my mom any info. on this matter because it seems to really upset her. I just want to know if anyone knows him or any of his children. Please only serious inquiries this is a sensitive issue.

I don't know what the deal is. Ever since I was little and potty trained mom would never let me shut the door when i used the bathroom. No matter if it was number 1, number 2, or taking a shower I could never have my own privacy. Now I'm in my 20's and its really starting to bother me, especially when I'm on the toilet and mom walks in to talk to me. Talk about uncomfortable! I'm not a parent so I don't know how parents think so I figured I would ask others on here why they do that. Maybe i'm seeing this all wrong.

I'm 17. I'm in home schooling so I don't know anyone. And because of that I can't get into driver's ed or a work permit, so I'm stuck at home. I have no friends. I've never been on a date. I haven't done ANYTHING in my life. My brother has a friend that wants to meet me. I've seen him before, I would like to meet him too. I simply mentioned it to my Mom and she exploded at the thought. For her, it's never going to happen. But she keeps telling me I need a boyfriend! I met a girl who lives a few streets over, she wanted to hang out with me, I mentioned her to my Mom ... no effing way was she ever going to come over. And she keeps saying I need friends too! I'm a very well behaved person, my Mom doesn't even know my brother's friend or the girl I met, let alone would she ever give them a chance. They're both my age. I only have 3 months until I'm 18, but even then I know my Mom will act the same exact way, she has my whole life. What on Earth do I do? Please help, thanks!!!

You remember those words you regret ever saying when you were so angry with your spouse ie.
- I hate you
- don't love you anymore
- f***k off
- it's over, am through with this bull sh*t
- I have never needed you.
- good for nothing. *****
Question:
1- Do we actually mean these horrible things we say (like down in the sub-consious) even though we say sorry and tell eachother we never meant them?
2- Do you think there is room for real forgiveness and trust again after such horrible things have been said.
Who has been here? whats your experience?

Ok, i was grounded yesterday through tomorrow(sunday) it sucks, how can i convince both my parents to un-ground me, and they wont just take a lame excuse. Any good ideas would help!
