You can't do anything but tell them you love them and will be there for them as soon as they're ready to start helping themselves.

When these people notice that you are'nt around to feel sorry for them and do all you can to build them up and they realize they are alone in the world with no one to blame but themselves then hopefully they'll see the light of understanding and at least try to pull themselves up.

well you really cannot help them if they do not want the help. I know I have been in this situation many times! It is really hard you just want to reach out and slap them...right! but don't do that!!! if they r ur friend then you should just be there for them unless it is harmful and that is when you tell someone else more powerful if you care about tis person! but if it is not going to hurt them then just stick by them...u'll get through it!

You absolutely cannot help a person that don't want help. However you can tell the person how you feel and tell them you love them. Pray for the best of their difficulties. Whatever happens, happens. Sometimes tough love is the best also.

You can't force them into being helped if they don't want it. Just be there for them when and if they come around and need the help. But on the other hand, some people are just ornary and want the attention it brings them to be so stubborn.

It kinda depends what their problem is. Having been in different situations like that, I would suggest that you just leave them alone and be there for them when they get to the point where they will accept your help. Good luck

Ignore them. That really shakes them up. Sometimes I think they just like all the attention of us begging them to change.
