every moment.
Toddlers have drowned in less water.
I had a friend who ran to answer the phone and the tub was near empty. When she returned her beautiful baby was dead. Babys can drown in a toilet. or a bucket or in a puddle of water outside.
NEVER leave your child alone while in the water. When can you trust a child alone? 4 or 5 yrs old, but check on every two minutes. or have the tub in your site while you are just outside of the room. NEVER leave a young child alone in water.
I can't believe you even asked this question.

Ah 2 year olds! i recognize that age! they imagine each and every thing is an journey and if this is no longer adventurous sufficient they'll make it that way. perfect idea i visit come back up with is bathtub toys! Take her to the shop with you an enable her %. out some squirt toys and some different type of bathtub time toys. Use them to distract her for a lengthy time period and once she receives bored with them (which in a 2 year old can ensue very right away) and she tries the makeshift waterslide back clarify to her that she might want to provide way and damage herself truly undesirable if she maintains. If that still doesn't paintings I advise getting a number of those nonslip stickers that you follow the bottm of the tub so that you do not fal in the bathe and stick them to the decrease back of the tub the position she likes to slip. she will be ready to quickly locate that she will be ready to't slide down so truly anymore and if she does it doesn't sense very solid to have her bottom all scratched up. i desire this helps. solid success. P.S. the tub crayons are an outstanding idea too yet provided that you clarify to her that those crayons are in basic terms for the walls around the tub bathtub. she will be ready to't write on the walls with different crayons like she will be ready to with those because they received't wash off like the tub crayons will.

looking at your pic on your post says alot about yourself. I see a shallow self involded person that isnt ready to be responsible for a child. I wonder if the child were four ; would you allow the 4 yr old to cross the street alone? remove your head from your ars and do NOT take your eyes off the child while it is in the tub . The only time you can be sure the child isnt going to injure themselves is when they are asleep. then you can be self involved.

Children have drowned in shallow puddles so your child should have constant supervision in the bath tub.

Someone should stay in the bathroom with a 2 yr old while they bathe. Remember, a child can drown in only a couple inches of water. It should be time spent with your child or you may regret it.Accidents happen so quickly.

Constant. It is very easy for a child this age to stand up and fall in the tub. They also have a tendency to swallow water while playing and do choke.

I would say some. You can gradually lessen the supervision on your child as time goes on. If you feel comfortable enough to let your child bath him/herself, then by all means, go ahead. I would still poke my head in the bathroom every-so-often, just incase. Good Luck!
