my step-sister varee is way too interested in boys and she's only 12. i've told her to watch herself because she'll end getting her feelings hurt by some punk. I love her so much and just don't want her to get herself in trouble. any advice on what I should say the next time I talk to her about it?

Seems like you have told her straight up. I would look at her and maybe letting her know syphilis is easy to catch and highly contagious. Let her know some of the signs. sores in mouth..vomiting....maybe scaring her a little might sway her from at least doing anything. Let her know you do care what happens that is why you want her to know. By the way protection does not protect from lots of sexual diseases. You are a decent brother. LL.

This is why parents give 12-year-old girls rules to limit the extent of their romantic involvement. You're not the parents, but maybe you could have input. At 12, I'd say no kissing, no had-holding, really no physical affection. No going on dates. You can say you are girlfriend and boyfriend. You can spend time together, but not all alone. At this age, no boyfriend even one year older than she is.
This gives her some outlet for her interests (they won't disappear) without their going too far. She will get her feelings hurt sometimes, but this is part of the learning process, and you try to keep it within bounds.

That's an extremely important question. If he parents can't talk to her, do so. Better if they do but it won't hurt if you do to. It may well be a problem of her needing to know that she is a loveable, worthwhile, valuable person and she thinks sex will confirm that she is. Of couse, it's only a temporary "fix" and can end badly.
So, tell her she is a beautiful person and go on with your own comments about the danger of guys. She's lucky to have you looking out for her.

She is way tooo young.
Tell a parent, and she may not like you...but a girl at 12-13 pregnant is a huge problem!
So before she gets pregnant.....take big steps, and a parent should be told.....she may? need to be put on contraception very soon. Its a dreadful thought!...but some girls hormones are crazy at that age...really....!!! no lie.

talk to her....

tell her that you love her and you dont want her to get hurt. basically tell the truth. dont try to be threatening about because that will make her want to go against you even more. make sure that she understands that you are doing it to protect her and that it is out of love. not because you want to control her

eventually she will come around. best of luck
