I know my mom loves me and just wants the best for me, but she's scaring away all of my boyfrineds. At first she seems to like them and then out of no where she starts finding anything wrong with them. I went out with this one guy and about the third month, she went through my stuff when I was at his house. She found a note from him to me and didn't agree with what he had said to me so she confronts his parents instead of coming to me! That was really humiliating having to stand in front of his parents and tell them nothing even happened. After that our relationship went down hill. I need some help. I have tried to talking to her about it, but she sees what she did as the right thing to do. What can I do to get across to her?

I just found out about this.. but a few weeks ago my mom got a check in the mail from a online lotto place for $2,000 and she cashed it. Well a few days ago she got a phone call from the store she cashed it at and they told her it was a fake check (counterfit), and told her the police was going to picking her up and the Attorney general was getting involved she called and left a mess to see whats going on but nobody has called her exept the store owner where she cashed it.. ok the question is could she go to jail?

Its one of the last names in my family and it seems to be fairly rare. I've been doing some research to see what its origins are and its pretty interesting. One of its origins seems to be that of an ancient English heraldic creature that had the head of a fox, body of a lion, front legs of an eagle, rear legs and tail of a wolf. It was supposed to watch over fallen chieftains to protect their bodies for proper burial. Any other info about the Enfield or the Enfield family name would be appreciated. Thanks.

Last year my mother in-law made a huge deal out of me wanted a snack before dinner, which ultimately led to me walking out on Thanksgiving dinner. I couldn't take being called names, and getting yelled at like I was a little kid. Now I want to make things right so our family can move on and have a happy holiday season. How do I apologize eventhough I don't feel like I am the one that needs to apologize?

My two and a half year old little boy will stay in his little "racecar" bed, which is right beside of ours(my husband and I), but like around 1:00am he will crawl up on our bed. My husband is thinking that we should buy a king size bed because he is the one who gets thrown to the edge and cannot sleep well. We have gone through this with our other oldest son, who is now six and a half, but he now sleeps by himself, well, he shares the same room with someone else, a cousin of mine who is 15. Should we let him sleep with us for a while until we think that he can manage to sleep alone in his bed? I know that the more that we let him sleep with us the harder it will be to get him out, but we feel sorry for him. Advice and suggestions please?

Why do so many parents out there look for excuses for their children's behavior? Everything is a cop out. Its not my fault, he has ADHD. Its not my fault, I did not see him hit that girl. Its not my fault. I wasn't even home last weekend.

When did American parents get so lazy?
