Growing up, I had things very similar happen to me. Turns out my mother is bi-polar. She would get very depressed, and in my opinion, ground me so that I would spend time with her. I don't think she knew what she was doing, nor did I at the time, it made me resent her.
So my advice to you is give your mom a hug, tell her you love her and go do your own thing. But make sure she knows that you love her even when she seems a bit off her rocker. This method is difficult to do and it takes a lot of strength. You are not a child. You are a young woman. Good luck!

You say your mother took your TV and telephone for no reason. If she did, I do not understand her reason. But I doubt this is the case. The first thing you state is that you are "NOT" a child. That tells me that you are probably a strong willed young lady and probably have on occasion expressed that to your mother in one way or another. Your idea of nothing and your mother's idea of "nothing" are two different ideas. Since you are not a child think about the consequences for your actions.
Love, respect and listen to her advice, you might not take all of it, but at least someone is listening to you and loving you.

If without the telephone and the television you just sit there all day, you need some hobbies. Or do your homework. Your life sounds pretty sad if the telephone and the television are all you have to do with yourself.
PS yes, you are a child, and you will be for another 4 years.

You being a child IS the point.

Your mother is a valid authority figure over you and has your best interest at heart.

Whatever her reasons, honor her wishes. Keeping peace with your mother will be to your benefit in the future.

When you're a few years older, you'll realize that 14 year olds are still children. Until then, make some friends and go play outside.

Frankly speaking, i strongly believe that is slavery. so use your head, find other things to comfort you. if your mother sees you being happy not having the TV of the T/phone she would probably ease off you. Reverse Phycology.

I am sure you did something. Also 14 is definitely still a child. You might think you are old and mature, but you are not.

Depends on what "nothing" is. You are a child until 18, legally.
