Everytime I start to like a guy, and I tell my mom about it, she always gives the "Now he may not like you." speech everytime. I'm already scared enough to say anything to a guy before hand, but then she gives that speech, and it makes me feel horrible, and want to give up. What can I do to make her stop with offending her?

I didnt eat lunch today at school, so when i egt home, I get me a small bag of chips. And he is like that better not spoil your dinner because the last times you have eaten snacks you didnt eat all your dinner. Plus he is suppose to be working today but he got a day off. I like having my time away from him. He gets on my nerves. And every time i do something he has something smart to say to me. He sarcastic 24/7! I cant wait until he goes to work!

I have never used home care before, but am interested in peoples experiences with it. Also a list of questions to ask the provider when interviewing them.

I know I am going to get a slew of people who don;t want to answer my question, but just tell me what a rotten parent I am for putting my kid in daycare, whatever I don;t need to hear it, but if you feel compelled to abuse me, then go ahead.

The options right now are, go back to work and put 3 yr. old in daycare, or stay at home with her and get thrown onto the street. Sorry but a house over my childs head and enough food for her to eat are good enough reasons for me.

Back to the question, any legitimate responses are appreciated...thanks much!

I've been supenaed to testify against my ex bf and I was wondering if there is anyway we can get out of this. The crime was against me but the state pressed charges. He never touched me it was all just a big misunderstanding.

This last year has been quite a blow on me and my family. Granted, my wife and I are fortunate enough to both be working, but we have acquired some very hefty medical bills that are breaking us. In the last year, I have had my knee broken with reconstructive surgery, I had heart problems so I had to have it all scoped out and they found a bad mitral valve and a small hole in my heart, I had one trip to the hospital where I thought I was having a heart attack, plus my 3 year old and 5 month old went on a spell for about 4 months where they were both sick and no matter what the doctor gave them, it wasn't helping them, but they are fine now, thank God. Plus we have that delivery of our baby that we have to pay for. We give as much as we can to the Church every week and anything else that we possibly can spare to whatever comes in our path. We are just hoping that this time, someone could help us in our time of need. We are negative at our bank and we have no food, please help us???

Should you just put up with them, even though they talk about you and gossip behind your back, just so your kids can know their family? Or do you protect them by keeping them away from them?

My grandmother is in her 80s, a widow, and one of her friends just died. She keeps saying how lonely she is, even though she has other friends and family in her life daily. She is badgering my single aunt to move in with her and refuses to sell her house, even though she can't keep it up anymore. Worst of all, she is mean and cranky toward us, her loved ones, no matter what we do. Every time we visit, she gives us guilt trips about anything and everything. I know she's unhappy, but what can we do to get the crankiness to stop, and how can we convince her to move into a retirement community?
