photographs are very important to grandparents. Is there an old photo of her with your grandfather or your parent? Having it restored and framed would be a great present for the "I have everything response". Also what about "coupons" you make yourself. Kinda little kid, but a grandparent would like them:
"one dinner just you and me"
"an afternoon at the movies or renting one"
"help with the house/car, cleaning whatever"
Time often means more than anything you can give to an older person and you will be glad you spent it with them later in life. I still feel like I missed out on a lot of time with my grandparents.

An emmy award? What would she do with that? I think a good gift would be taking her out to dinner and spending time with her. Or buy her a photo album and put pictures in it. Make it something sentimental.

It is a good idea. But if you are looking for suggestions I have a few: gift certificate to her favorite restaurant, or to the hair saloon. I usually do that for my grandmother.

Why don't you try making something for her. Something personal and meaningful that she'll cherish because you put forth effort and hard work to make it for her instead of some schlock thing that you purchase?

Grandmas don't want things they have to dust! Take her out to lunch! Grandma's love spending TIME with their grandkids. Give her a certificate to go out to lunch with you! She'll love it.
