Family - September 2006

I have always got on well with my mother, we're more like best friends, but she constantly asks me for my opinon on things & then rubbishes the opinion and moans about her partner to me then gets angry when I feel I cannot to talk to the man because of how badly he treats her. I feel like I can't win. I try everything to try & support and protect her but she throws it back in my face.

I have younger sisters and a brother who still live at home & even they are old enough and savvy enough to realise this man is wrong for her and treats her awfully. They get scared when they argue (my mother has already been in a violent relationship once before) & I am called to come round because the kids want to leave but my mother tells me to go & mind my own business. Two weeks later she's sending me cards & presents saying she misses me. Its very confusing.

My stubborness won't let me contact her, I don't feel I am in the wrong, but she guilt trips me with presents. What do I do?

my daughter is black and likes hanging out with white kids. The black kids always pick on her for that. What can I do to resovle this problem that is happening at school, without starting a BIG comotion that will have my only child the talk of the," middle school" she attends?

He ran off like a girl but still within the same city where his family lives. It seems the girl bewitched him but he does not belive anyone can bewitch him. I messed around a lot when I was young and never took study seriously. Now im 26 and im totally over trying to get ahead on just over $400 per week. I am fairly astute and have interests in law and psychology ect ect, but at 26 years old is it really too late? i didn't even finish year 12 let alone go to uni. I cant handle the no brainer dead end jobs anymore..... anyone been in my situation, please share your stories/ advice

He REALLY likes to tinker out in the garage. I'm guessing most of the answers I will get on here is 'tools'. But I want to get him something he can actually use. He's not a big drinker, but likes Corona. Also he just recently found a John Deere mower lawn tractor from the city wide clean up that didn't run and fixed it up to new! He did the same thing with a boat trailer that he got at an auction. Turned it into a brand new flatbed trailer, paint, lights, the works! He truly is a handy man and he also likes 'Mater' from the movie 'Cars'. Please help! :Þ

My "family"... is going on pretty well. However, now my cousin go to this new school and we have to eat so many stuff, except the anorexic friend, i have to pay bills. my grandfather died when i was 10 im 25 now..he died on christmas eve and i wasnt told for a few months afterwards..only saw my dad growing up once twice a year then not for years...but i keep dreaming about him..he keeps telling me to find him..to say goodbye because i dont even know where he is buried and i never got to say goodbye to him..i think i have the right since he is my grandfather. what do u think? should i let it go? or say goodbye?

I have been married for five years ,almost five years.
I dont feel i have to have a baby.I didnt get marry coz of baby.
By the way am 30 years old woman.Yesterday I met a friend & she asked me : Whats wrong with u?U r getting old , go & have one.Since i met her im thinking WHAT I HAVE TO DO?

I have a gf who is 17 and she has a bro of about 13 and they're really close and very much like lovers or friends sometimes when you see the way they behave...but in my case i see that in a different way as she constantly touches and tickles him and in return he does it for her and they play and make hell at home on the bed and while togther anywhere...and these things really makes me sometimes really jealous abouth them and i dont know whether it's natural for me to be jealous or for them to behave in that way. When im at my house i always am obsessed about this and wonder what they'd be doing at home all alone...and sometimes i suspect incest too as their closeness cannot be explained as they're really close...I have siblings too and i have close relations with them but not soooo touchy feely like this..pls advise whether to get involed and solve the problem but not spoil the relationship that i have with her..tks.n rgds...bye..

We were previously in a relationship, me and this friend of mine, and now are working toward building a real relationship but aren't currently together. There is one thing that we are both absolutely sure of, and that is he wants to be my son's father and wants to adopt him. My son's real father has never been there or been in my son's life, has never made a child support payment or even tried to show up for the court dates. So how do I go about having my friend adopt my son without us first being married, although we are working towards having that life? Thank you for all your input it is appreciated.
