Well this sounds silly but around this time of year I have a solution for my 5 yr old . I created Bob the elf, who is watching her from the North Pole, and taking away Xmas presents if shes not good. The Bob threat works for going to bed, getting up all kinds of things. But I probably only have one more year of it!!(and I used it on her now 11 yr old brother too when he was little.

Start waking her up 30 mins before you want her to get up!!!
That way she can say 5 more mins a couple of times and feel as though she has won, when really you have!!!!
I have a 5 yr old too, but she is OK at getting up our problem is getting her to bed!!

Try keeping her up a little longer so she is more tired and goes to sleep quicker once in bed.
In the morning remove the covers from the bed and walk away.
Tell her she can go to school in her nightwear for all you care

She sound like me n my siblings he he.. Now i just graduated.. Waking up is a headache for my mum n dad, especially primary n secondary school time, as we had to wake up 5 am to take turns to BATH...
Well, they always hv a lot of ideas like put multiple alarm clocks set at different times (the ringing type) n shake us till we open our sleepy eyes etc..
But the most effective method tat i would share n recommend for ur daughter is firstly, wet both ur hands with cold water n gently stroke her face upwards n downwards while count "1...2...3... " On her room light n let her sit up a while to regain full conciousness. U can use this method together with the alarm clock.
Honestly i miss my parents wake me up like that as now i working in another town. Take care

Difficult question to answer this one. You could bribe her with a treat. say to her " if you get to school on time all week we will go to the pictures on Saturday" or failing that a bucket of cold water with ice cubes in may work. Cheers.

Put an airhorn at the side of her head and blast it until she gets up. You may find yourself scraping her off the ceiling and sending her to counselling until she's 17, but it'll be worth it just to see the look on her face

if she is genuinely tired make her go to bed half an hour earlier and make sure shes not reading or playing in her room, put her to bed light off and straight to sleep at that age she should be full of energy. If shes tired frequently take her to the GP.
