He REALLY likes to tinker out in the garage. I'm guessing most of the answers I will get on here is 'tools'. But I want to get him something he can actually use. He's not a big drinker, but likes Corona. Also he just recently found a John Deere mower lawn tractor from the city wide clean up that didn't run and fixed it up to new! He did the same thing with a boat trailer that he got at an auction. Turned it into a brand new flatbed trailer, paint, lights, the works! He truly is a handy man and he also likes 'Mater' from the movie 'Cars'. Please help! :Þ

He already has two older cars he is fixing up, along with a tow truck. He has an air compressor, a cordless drill, grinder, sander. Maybe he would like a paint gun?

Well if he likes doing all of that maybe he needs a new grinder or a sander? He needs those tools to do the jobs right. Maybe some saw horses? Does he have an air compressor? Maybe he needs some air tools? Maybe a brand nailer or a finish nailer? I dont know what he has but all of those gifts would be great if he likes going handy man work. You could find him something to fix up. Maybe a car or something that he may enjoy. Sounds like you really love this man. He should be lucky just to have a woman like yourself. I would say no matter what you get him he will love. If you want tools then go to the store and ask them what they have that is new that he may not have yet. One new one is a battery powered screw gun. Those are amazing. He would love one of those I bet. Just go out and ask and I bet you will find something. Good luck.

Get him one of those massive swiss army knives that have every different tool on them - screwdrivers, knives, saws, corkscrew etc - good for when you're out and about or can't be bothered going to the garage for your tool box .There's a model called 'Swiss Champ" by manufacturer Victorinox that's very cool - even has a bottle opener for those Coronas. If you look in a camping shop you'll probably find one or something similar.

If he plays golf, get him those adorable animal golf-warmers or covers or whatever and say it was your child's idea. (Many fathers would love that) If he likes being pampered, get him an appointment(and maybe gift cards so he can go back there) in a spa-salon. Us guys love those things, too, you know. If he likes technology(or uses them often for work), get him a nice little bluetooth, a game console, or a software he's been yearning for for some time. If he likes luxury, a steak dinner for two with candles. (If you have children, this might not be possible) If he's a dedicated employee, get him a nice leather briefcase and some ties.

well if hes a handyman i would say get him an older car that he can fix up. Possibly an older muscle car.
