i took $5 dollars out of my mom's purse to get my glasses fixed. I didn't ask her, so I could see why she was angry. Now she doesn't trust me and is threatening to kick me out. I said i was sorry. I feel terrible, but what should i do?

My son is 18 and in his last year of high school. He seems to have the thought that life owes him something and that the world is just waiting for him to bless it with participation. How can I get him to realize that if you don't go after life it will continually pass you by and without hard work you'll always struggle?

For 15 years i've been helping my family out financially. I've given up an apartment and a social life. I feel isolated and sometimes sad. Would you continue to help knowing that you are sad or would you go out and life your own life and risk losing your family?

most of the time she is fine. but recenttly she has been drinking more. and seems to like to run her mouth or take her anger out on me. when she is not drinking she will call me to complain about my son. her parents recently died, so i know she is grieving. but she has other family and friends she could talk to but she does not want to upset them. i have asked her to please not call my son names to me i know he is not perfect but he is still my son. she is most of the time a nice person to be around. but just this last weekend she got drunk and started calling me bad names.....my grandson told me this. he was upset because he loves me and gets confused by her actions. she then tells him not to tell me i can see the hurt in his eyes. he slipped the other day and said in front of his mom and me that mom called me bad names. iam hurt but also angry with her but need help on how to approach her without causing a bitter conflict any suggestions please. thank you

I am 14 years old, and my family constantly tell me to lose weight while my friends tell me to gain weight. My brother condescends me, my mother makes fun of my weight and often critizes me, saying 'do you see any asian 14 year olds fat?'. My father makes fun of my weight also. Another thing is, they don't expect me to do good in school, since I have always been an A's and B's student. What can I do to deal with this problem?

I have a 2 year old and we are board! I use to know so many kid songs and knew what kind of games to play but that was a long time ago when I was younger I am not old now but I am 36 with a 2 year old and a 8 month old so I am a little lost when it comes to somethings like this. We sing the same 3 or 4 songs all the time. She does not complain obout the same ol same ol but she does have a mind like a sponge and I need to keep adding new stuff!! We read books Everyday, When I say books I mean books We can't stop with just 2 or 3 she loves them but we do need something new. I will continue to read to her but we really need some ideas on some games and some new songs. And 1 more thing, How do you survive the terribable two's. I am a stay home mom so we really got to do something to change things up a little. Summer reading program was good while it lasted

my sister is such a b****. she sneaks in my room and reads/steals my stuff, she tells me what to do, she over powers me, and plus she attacks me for know reason. i know when you have an older sister this is how it is but how can i get some sort of revenge on her? please help me get back at her now!!!!

My friend is fifteen.Her father died about a year ago...so her and her mother moved in with her sister,who is married with four kids. Her sister's husband{who is her brother in law} is very strict on his kids.But he also bosses my friend, and her mom...the sister just lets him get away with this..this is not her dad should she have to let him be that strict with her and her mom?

my sister and her husband are drug addicts and alchoholics they have a 6 year old and they are always on something how would I go about getting custody for a while. they deny it but we know they do It and we found a syringe in their car. and their daughter has had head lice for 5 years what actions should I take to get her out of that situation? please help any information would be helpful.

I live 25 mi from my daughter. When her first child was a baby I saw them frequently but as time goes by I hear less and less from her. Any plans that she follows through with are geared towards occasional baby sitting . . .boys, now 9 and 11or maybe one or two sports events a yr, at which time she has friends present and says very little to me. She rarely calls; if I call her she may or may not call back and it is usually a week or so later. She does call once or twice a year to vent when she is furious with her husband. I saw her at Easter and have spoken with her 3 to 4 times since. I have never been critical of her and I do not meddle in her life or have unreasonable expectations of her. Once in one of our rare conversations, I ask that we should stay in touch a little better . . . she got ugly, screaming and ending up saying to me "I hope when I get OLD I don't" I can't even remember what it was, but when I told her calmly that calling me old, hurt, she deinied saying it.

i'm 13 years old and he is 14 years old. ever since we were little he acts like he can make me do anything. i know that he is my uncle but i see him more as a friend or cousin. he's always picking on me calling me "big forehead" and just the other day he got new sneakers for school. then i got the same ones but that's not my fault i never told my mother to buy them and now he calls me a biter. we do have our moments when we get along but we also have our moments when we can't stand eachother. he does not like to make things right like me. sometimes i would say "why don't you talk to me any more like you used too. he will say to leave him alone alakia. why can't i just get through to him?
