i'm 13 years old and he is 14 years old. ever since we were little he acts like he can make me do anything. i know that he is my uncle but i see him more as a friend or cousin. he's always picking on me calling me "big forehead" and just the other day he got new sneakers for school. then i got the same ones but that's not my fault i never told my mother to buy them and now he calls me a biter. we do have our moments when we get along but we also have our moments when we can't stand eachother. he does not like to make things right like me. sometimes i would say "why don't you talk to me any more like you used too. he will say to leave him alone alakia. why can't i just get through to him?

You can't make him do things. I would just be your nice self and be polite. Your mother and father are the ones to "order" you around. If you are doing something unsafe and mean, then he could give his say. You can't through to someone who has made their minds up. Stay sweet and just be you. :)

Gently remind him he not your parent when an issue comes up, other then that just forget it you know hes not your boss.
