1. Firstly cover the floor with a large sheet of plastic to protect it
Then get a load of potatoes/carrots hard veg.then cut shapes into them and get the kids to dip it into paint and then print them on paper .
2.Try face painting
3.Get a sandpit for the garden.
4.Hide and seek.
5.Make tents on the sofa ... using the cushions and a blanket.
6.Let them run wild in the garden if you have one..even in the rain/snow.
8.Collect empty cartons/boxes and make "things"
Feed you kids imagination ..you don't need expensive toys ..just you and a box ..
9.Reinact the stories you read to them .
Ps :I'm a dad and I spend alot of time with my kids due to my shift work and I know how hard it is to keep then occupied...
Good luck and get messy ... ( That's why washing machines were invented for)

My daughter will be 3 in December. She likes "head and shoulders, knees and toes", ring around the rosie, hide and seek, there's a great game you can get from Wal-Mart (among others, but it's cheaper there) called Elefun. She loves it, and it's actually tolerable! Dominos, memory matching games, hiking, treasure hunt, fingerpainting, building houses out of boxes, Mr. Potato head.....hope this helps!
take care,
Flamingo

i does no longer attempt to do quite prepared, rule-depending video games. With childrens that youthful, it is going to likely be demanding to wrangle them. And with that huge an age swing, the little adult men does no longer be in a position to compete with the older childrens. you ought to in basic terms have activities the position everybody participates interior an similar activities: make mask out of paper plates/feathers/glitter, or everybody decorates their own cupcake, or fingerpainting (attempt to get them to do artwork of Mickey and different Disney characters), or different stuff like that. have relaxing and congrats on the little guy! :)

try doing art with her. 2 year olds love getting their hands messy and creating new things. fingerpainting, macaroni necklaces, playdough, all those things help to increase hand-eye coordination, small muscle control, etc. remember, its not the final product but the process in creating!
