The best thing to do is not contribute to the hell that is breaking loose. While you cannot control the actions of other people, you can certainly control your own actions. It also helps to never take anything personally.

As a police officer you have to take control. Depending on what exactly is happening 'voice control' may be the method. A screaming obscenity threatening violence can work wonders but if you get it wrong, things get more violent. Good humour works if the crowd is drunk but causing annoyance. If the officer is alone, there is very little he can do except observe and await assistance. He/she must be prepared however to prevent any serious injury to anyone even if it means that the officer will become the butt of everyone's anger. Quite honestly, each situation can and does call for a different approach. Afterwards, in the canteen, is the first time that one realises how dangerous a situation one was in fact facing................

u know that the hell around u does not effect u unless u let it. take a deep breath n plod through the problems one at a time till they r all handled. good luck it takes a lot of practice 2 be able 2 not let it get 2 u but once u do u will be happy that u learned how.

In what I suggested for you is to just relax and not worry about
any thing take an deep breath count to `10 backwards seems to help all people when in a nervious mood
