I didn't particularly get too upset when my daughter was younger and would go out and shoot some baskets sometimes because I thought it might just be a fad. However, now that is 12 and a young lady, she doesn't need to be doing this kind of thing. I feel that sports are a guy thing and the girls that are into sports are mostly he-she's that absolutely disgust me. I want my daughter to be a lady, not some butch woman. She really wants to go out sometimes and be able to play basketball with the guys, but I have told her that it is time to grow up and don't even think about becoming a tom boy. She is kind of hurt right now and is giving me the silent treatment. What should I do?

I'm 42, divorced. I have 15 yr. old son. MOM-Physical Custody-Shared Joint Custody. 46 yr. old boyfriend-breaks my sons nose on 9-3-2006.Mom and 2 friends watch-as well as my 13 yr. old son. Cops called-my mom meets them at ex house. 46 yr. old-&2 friends flee-cops not there yet.No police report filed until 9-7-06.Man leaves state-ex felon.DHS investigating-2 boys are with me meanwhile.Dhs tells me 2 times-not secure about boys going home 2 mom. Today-9-9-06?? not charged YET! Im told I cant even file restraint order on any of them to protect my children. 13 yr. old has to go home(not my choice!)Legally had to. 15 yr. old with me-I hope permanentally-for safety.Man came back to state of Iowa on 9-8-06. Still Free! Their mom &(other 2 people-unknown yet)-not charged yet-if at all. Mom still blames15 yr. old old 4 what happened. Cant afford attorney-Im limited income. Will an attorney or someone in the legal field help me? Desperatly Pleading 4 my childrens lives. Thank You All 2 help.

I am 24 and engaged.I had a child 2 weeks ago. Before I delivered, I talked to my father nearly everyday. Now, however, when I talk to him we have nothing to talk about and he is very distant acting toward me. He loves his grand daughter, but I am upset about our relationship we have now. Could this be him adjusting to being a grandpa and his own daughter being a mother, or should I try harder to talk to him?

he walks around in his underwear. and if i walk upstairs or come out of my room there he will be in all his glory and sometimes i turn the corner and run into him by accident. EW.
it drives everyone crazy but he doesn't seem to think it's gross or anything!

I am planning on moving out 2500 miles away. I am under 25, have no family or anything here holding me back, except extended family. My little cousin is 9, and I am a big part of her life. Should I move or not? She found out from her mom and dad, not me, I havn't been able to talk to her to tell her, and today I got a yahoo message from her begging me not to move. she is the only one who has made me feel guilty about the move. how can i explain it to her and help her understand why I am doing it, and also to not feel so bad? is it normal to feel this way?

My parents separated 3 years ago they don't get long still so dad doesn't want to talk to her anymore or do anything with her he doesn't want to see her anymore I don't why I think he still have feelings for but too afaird that she might hurt him again so he ask me to tell she is coming over to stay with us in our house with dad so he wants her to bring the papers with her what do I do?

When I was born in Utah 1974, there was a DNA blood test done with me and two men the one on my birth certifict is not my real birth father. The other man Henry Bowers is. Don't know exact spelling of his name only his sisters name is Mariann and that he had red hair and freckels. He was about my mothers age 53. University Hospital in Salt Lake city Utah said DNA test go to the state but don't have any other kind of info. What part of the state?

Im the one who asked for reasons that i could use to convience my mom to let me go to my friends house monday.

My mom does this with all my friends.Last year I wanted to go to a friends Birthday Party,and she told me no because she didnt "Know" them.Now I want to go to my friends house and spend the night til tuesday and i told her I would ride my friends bus to school and then the next day,ride my bus back to my home.She just told me no,and I really wana go.Are there any ways that I can tell her I really wana go and Im mature enough to call her if anything goes wrong??

I met Joyce in Hartford, CT we were both 16 and in love. She lived in a girls home named Greylodge on Spring St. She was from Providence, RI. ok my parnets dont take me seriously because iwant to be a porn star when i grow up im 13 and its not even because im fast or anytihng itsjust that i find sex interesting and that it should be explored more.

this is gonna sound stupid crazy but its the truth:
when i was a little kid like five or six i was sexually abused by a family friend for a couple of yrs and yes i hated it but after that i found sex interesting and weird at the same time . yea i had a bunch of therapy and strinks and im fine but i still want to be this and my mom just thinks i need more therapy because my phychiatrist tihins i have osme type of damaged goods effect problem or whatever!!! help

Sometimes at night my girlfriend will want to put on one of my t shirts to sleep in. She says it reminds her of me and it comforts her at night. It also makes her feel better. Well, I was nice to let her have some of my t shirts but I thought she was going to let her brother wear them, not her! I have gave hints to her that it wasn't appropriate for girls to be wearing men's clothing. I am finding this very displeasing that she continues to wear my shirts, I haven't exactly gave her a warning or anything but I am thinking about it. What should I do?
