I have had all of those...and my favorite is a bird...I had a blue and gold Macaw, and Elanoras cockatoo and a blue fronted amazon..The Macaw was the best pet of all.
The cleanest pet would be a fish.

hey i never had one of them.. what exactly is a cat dog fish bird?
actually i love fish and cats.. birds.. birds are very hard upkeep and make big messes.. can be quite noisy and you got to watch their body temperature.
cats are almost maintainence free.. long as they don't get sick or parasites.
small dogs are ok.. make sure they don't bark up the neighborhood that is a big problem with dogs.
fish are tricky.. you got fresh water, salt water... ones that have to be in particular temperatures... so on.

We have a dog, and I love her to death. But a bird or fish might be easier to care for. A fish would be the cleanest. As you only have to change their water, and not daily or weekly.

I THINK IT IS UP TO YOU TO ASK YOUR SELF WHAT DO YOU WANT OUT OF A PET IF YOU WANT TO HOLD IT A DOG NOT CAT. A CAT SMELLS YOUR HOUSE UP AND IT SMELLS LIKE A BATHROOM BUT IF YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU CAN WATCH GET FISH THET ARE GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL WHEN YOU HAVE A STRESSFUL DAY WATCHING THEM AND LISTENING TO THE SOUND OF THE WATER RUN REALLY HELPS

I think a cat if you're not allergic to them. They practically take care of their own needs and if you're working, they don't mind being alone or with another kitty companion. They do, however, shed, which can be a pain. And some of them claw furniture. That can be dealt with. I vote for the cat any day! Godloveya!

my cat was the best pet I had in my house. She would be there when I walked in the door after work . I was never late for work because she was my alarm clock. but sadly she was 19 and very sick . so she is no longer in my house. had to put her to sleep :(

ummm i think a dog because it is easier for them to learn and because they are not so hard to take care of.I give an advice because i have a dog of my own and it's like my bestfriend.
