Why are little kids so anxious to be adults?
Why don't children cherish their childhoods after they hit 14?
Why do parents let their 13 year old girls run around like tiny sluts?
Why are boys so eager to loose their virginities at 14?
What has happened to children!?

Am I the only one that's worried about the generation following mine? If "children are our future" and parents let their kids run amuck then I don't want to be aroudn to see our future!

Do you agree?

My sister is 18 and I have recently found out that she is urinating in the bed. Why wouldnt she just go to the bathroom? I'm afraid that maybe shes going crazy because schizophrenia runs in our family. Could she be going crazy? If not why would she pee in the bed? I asked her why she said she was scared to go to the bathroom. I didnt believe her so I asked her if anyone has done anything to her she keeps telling me no. I dont know why she keeps doing it. Its not only at night but she does it during the day to and then she hurries up and changes her panies and throws them in the washer. I guess she forgets about them so when I go to wash my clothes sometimes I open the washer up and I see and can smell her panies which have a strong stench of urine. I told my mom to talk to her but my momm doesnt want to believe she is peeing in the bed. I told her maybe she needed councelling and my mom keeps dismissing it. Her room reeks of urine as well.

Every time I tell my mom something and ask her not to tell anyone else, she DOES. When I became pregnant, she told my grandma immediately, even though i asked her to wait so I could share the BIGGEST news of my life. This week, I told her about my husbands new job. It wasn't official quite yet so I asked her not to tell anyone. Tonight, we were at a family function and my grandparents said, "how come you didn't tell us you were getting a new job?"
How can I be respectful to her but at the same time let her know i disaprove what she does?

My hubby is in the army. He and I have been married a little over a year now. He is being deployed to Iraq on December 1st. What should I do? What would be a great way to cope with this and not constantly worry about him? He is supposily going to camp booka which is suppose to be the safest part in Iraq. But I am still a little scared for him. And he will be gone a whole year. This really sucks!!!

See, I wanted to go out last night with some friends...but my parents were like 'no' and they wouldn't give a good reason. I'm like a straight A student...but they still dont trust me to go out after dark. They think that if I'm with mroe than a couple friends its a 'gang'. I'm 15 years old, and I know my parents are just looking out for me, but they won't let me go on the bus, or go out with guys. And there's so many other things that my friends are allowed to do that im not. Please help. I dont want to argue with them anymore about it!! THX :D

My parents abuse me- Emotional, and some physical (and maybe verbal- if yelling& cussing is considered as that) (*****PLEASE KNOW- MY PARENTS ARE ASIANS- THEY WERE BOTH BRON& RAISED IN KOREA*****) I've been raised this way all my life, but the abuse got harsher since 2 years ago. I was dealing OK with it, until, the abuse got harsher- he even tried to throw a flower-pot at me. I'm sick of it now- I feel like I'm NEVER gonna be good enough for them, and I just want to die, so I won't be hurt anymore. I want a different family- one who will love me as who I am-UNconditional love. But I can't turn them in, because I'm Asian, and I'm not a US Citizen here. My dad said that if I turn him in, I'll be sent off to Korea- with the rest of my family (and I KNOW he'll kill me if that happens) My wiah is to somehow stay in the US, with a different parents. WOuld that be possible? Or do I have to go back to Korea? And should I turn my parents in? WHat if they kill me? Please help- I'm NOT lying

I WANT TO TAKE AWAY ALL HER PERSONAL BELONGINGS TO TEACH HER THAT I AM THE ONE THAT PROVIDES ALL THESE THINGS FOR HER AND UNTIL SHE LEARNS TO ABIDE BY THE RULES IN MY HOUSEHOLD SHE WILL NOT GET THEM BACK. IF IT WASNT FOR ME SHE WOULD HAVE NOTHING. WILL THIS WORK OR AM I WASTING MY TIME PACKING?

I have had an estranged relationship with my mother pretty much most of my life.

There was a span of 12 years (ages 8 - 20) where I didn't speak or see my mother, and then we reunited and got along OK for a few years, but I got upset and broke off our relationship and haven't spoken to my mom in 7 (ages 28 to 35) years.

Here's my question, should I try once more to establish a relationship with my mother? I don't know why, but I feel like I need her for some reason.

How would you recommend I go about trying to do this?

All serious responses will be appreciated.

we argued about stupid stuff and didnt talk for a couple of weeks.(very unusual for us)... We finally made up and talked and it was a little tense but almost back to normal by time we got off the phone. but no "I love you" which we used to say half of the time we spoke. 50 percent of the time......
shortly after this conversation she emailed me and told me that comming in the mail to me was her vacation tickets to the Bahama's so my husband and i could go... i feel that she may be guilty and giving this up for me because of that... (sorry this is so long) anyways, i asked her and she said she is too busy and not enough money to take off work for that long.. so she thought we could use a vacation.....
my concern is that she has been planning this for over a year, and i feel like she could make it but i think she is doing this becasue she is guilty for a stupid fight. what do you think<>?

My parents just had new baby and I love my new (and only) brother dearly. I am 15 years old and there is a big space (in terms of age) between my brother and myself. I have been wanting a sibling for a long time.. well anyways, by the time I graduate high school and leave for college, my brother will only be four years old. I really want to be close to my brother. Should I choose a college close to home or a more prestigious college farther away that is better for my own future?
