I love both of my parents. But I'm closer to my Dad. I know he loves me so much. And I love him so much too. He always gives me the things that I like. He always knows the things that I like even if I won't tell him. I'm a single mom. When I got pregnant, he was the first one I turned to. The whole time I was pregnant and even until now, he never scolded me. But I knew that he was really hurt. And it hurt me too. He didn't say anything but he was still there when I needed him. Now, it's not the same anymore like before because of what happened. But I understand. And I still love him.

I did not see your question but I would have told you I loved my dad and mom and I miss them every day.My daughter is having her third child soon and it makes me sad to think my parents will never have the opportunity to hold the new baby or that my grandchildren will miss knowing them and hearing their stories, sharing bear hugs and a knee always ready to hold a little child.I have fond memories of my parents and will pass them on to my grandchildren.

I love my dad, i just don't agree with with his old fashion views and his way of ridiculing my choices in life. Moms seem to support thier children no matter what, more so than dads.

huh, ...?...yea... but not all men are great fathers...lately there few and far between...my daughter for example, does not know her father, hes never been around, he left me for a 14 year old and I was 20 and married to him, he was 21 and well....soceity just does not have any morals anymore and men think the more sexual creeps they are, the more of a man they are in this day and time.

I can tell by your question that you never met my father, or my step-daddy, one beat me bloody often, step, the other, father first told me he loved me when I was 42 and in the same breath told me why I was going to h-ll. You know maybe it's not us that do not love.
