the whole family has tried to find him and his mam has returned to canada and visited places she felt he might be. she has been on radio and been in news papers all to no avail. any good ideas?

Try doing a Google or Yahoo search for the person. You never know what will come up. You may want to hire a Private Investigator.

The same thing happened with my cousin. He had a big argument over religion with his father (my uncle) and just disappeared then. Age 17. I think some people just don't realize how family can worry about them.
