Your reasons for wanting to become a porn "star" make no sense.
I'm sorry that you may have been abused as a young child, but understand that getting into the adult video industry will only set you up for more abuse.
You might get paid a couple of thousand dollars to have some dude videotape you and another guy having sex, but after a couple of times, they'll look for another "star", and you'll be cast aside. If you straighten out your life afterwards, then you'll always have those videos floating around on the internet for your kids to see.
You have a lot of time to think about it, since no "legitimate" porn producer will even come near you before you're 18 (they don't want to spend their lives in jail)
I'm more worried about you in the short term.... Sleeping with guys won't make you popular, but it will make you a 'sl*ut', and you don't want that reputation.
Don't set yourself up for more abuse. Stay away from drugs and gangs and don't sleep around. Sounds like your parents love you, and you should listen to them. You wanna 'explore'? Explore math, science, history, literature... Be somebody special, don't be a troubled tramp that no one will care about.
You may not see it, but your parents truly love you.

i think 13 is a little young to decide on this as a career. it is not unusual for people who are sexually abused to think like this. i agree with your mom. i really think you should get some really good therapy so that you don't continue to feel the need to be exploited - which is what being a female porn star is all about. it is degrading...and really not a very good aspiration in life for a 13 year old. and you telling your parents this is what you want to be leads me to believe it is not what you want. did you really expect them to support you in this? come on! get some help from someone who specializes in this area...

I have to agree with your shrink and your parents. I hope that you get the help that you need to work through the horrible trauma you have been through.
If you still want to go into the adult entertainment business when you are 18, then your parents can't stop you because you will be an adult.
But for right now, listen to your parents and your shrink. They are trying to help you get better and keep you from being hurt like that again.

Sugar listen to your mom. You definitely need more therapy. With all the opportunities you have why on earth would you want to be in an industry that degrades and dehumanize women? Have more respect for yourself.

Listen to your parents, they are always right. But if you want to be a porn star, I hope you all the best. You may change your mind when you get older. But I do wish you the best.
