I always feel bad for telling a lie so what I try to do is talk around the truth without lying. My memorey is so bad I would never be able to keep up with a lie anyhow.

"i'm going to a good friends house for the weekend" translation= Some people I know rented a suite for the weekend.... YES I would feel bad
"No, I've never tasted liquor" translation= I'll let you believe that I am still your young naive girl.... No I wouldn't feel bad
ps- these are ones I just came up with and not necessarily lies I used on my parents.

I used to lie a lot when I was a kid, but as growing up, I think my lying kind of disappeared, because I don't anymore. However, I did sometimes feel bad when I lied.
