My kids asked me what MY cousins KIDS are to them. I think that my cousins kids are my 2nd cousins right? So what are the kids to each other? (my kids and my cousins kids) Sorry if I'm confusing....

I asked my son to help me with the dishes, and he said "no way" so I cut off 2 of his fingers with a meat cleaver, then he pulled a 9 mm handgun and pointed it at my head, so I dived out the window, and got my pump-action shotgun from my truck, and we engaged in an all-out gun battle for the next 2 hours, is this normal behaviour for a redneck hillbilly family??????? YEEEEHAAAAA

It seems to me when I go into a clothing store I see mostly women shopping for clothes for their husband or sons. The men and boys seem to be only there to make sure that the clothes fit and dont seem to be taking an active role in selecting the cloths. Is this true when mothers shop for their daughters too. Are the daughters passively accepting their mothers choices.

My son was diagnosed a little over 2 yrs. ago. I'm having a hard time relating to how this affects his everyday life. I've read books, talked to doctors, and put him on meds.
It just seems like he pushes in the wrong direction because he knows he is slightly different.
How do I get him to understand that he is just like everyone else and help him get through his day without so much frustration?
He's a good kid, smart, but won't apply himself to anything. Would it be a good idea for him to maybe do sports, or would he just hurt someone?

My mother is planning on doing something that will bring up some bad memories with my older sister. I'm afraid that they'll never speak again. The thing is, my mom doesn't even realize that what she's planning will ruin her delicate relationship with my sister. Should I try to talk to her about it? I just got home from probably one of the best dates I have had with my current boyfriend and on that aspect I feel absolutely wonderful. On the other hand my mom is still up and around the hosue trying to prepare for a craft fair she is in tomorrow. Why does she always take out her stress from not being prepared on me? How is it my fault in the least that she isn't prepared for her show tomorrow and what gives her the right to beat me down? Now I feel like crying because I feel bad for my mom and I feel bad that she can't ever just be happy for me.

And yes I am old enough to go on dates this late yadayada, I am just home for the summer.

I was at the state fair all day today having a good old time. But when I came home I found out that my younger brother was in a accident. He hit a coyote with his Harley.(freak accident I know but its true) He's okay with a few broken bones and road rash. But I still feel guilt for some reason. I know that its not like I could have changed a thing but I just feel terrible.

my parents have been fighting for a long time now. but they don't yell at each other, they ignore each other. my mom is always upset, she'll walk in a room where i'll be laughing with my sister or something and then our smiles fade. her face would be red, and her eyes shining. but my dad, on the rare times when he has no choice but to say a few words to her, gives her attitude. is there anything i can do?

and please don't say "couples fight" this isn't an ordinary every-day thing.

I was on my profile and then 2 of my cousins walked in on me and one of them pulled me away while teh other clicked on my pictures and checked them out.. I was really mad and well basically, my question is, "Should I forgive them for looking at my pictures without my permission?" I want to, but its really hard and I'm a very unreasonable person.. But this time, I have a reason for being mad at them and I have the right to. I just want to forget all about what happened but I can't.. Are there any reasons why I shouldn't be mad at them?

Ok so my dad and I have always been realy close. He has always stood by me and he is understanding. My dad was my hero and best friend. Well I am almost 15 now and I am turning into a normal teenage girl like most girls do. But my dad has totally changed. He pretty much is just forgeting about me and he moved on to my little brother who is 6. He stoped taking me places, he stoped buying me gifts, and he pretty much never talks to me. Its like I am all grown up. When I ask if he wants to get some lunch he says he is busy but then he takes my brother to work and lunch with him. My mom even thinks my dad is acting strange. I try to talk to her about what I should do but she is no help at all. So my dad and I are just falling apart. The only time I talk to him is when he needs to talk to me. Its realy sad because I miss our daddy and daughter bond. Any ideas what I could do to make my dad understand that I still need him and that I am not all grown up yet?

Hi. Can anyone give me some examples of how their four year old boy acted at this age? My son is about 4 and a half, and he has changed into a little mad-man, I think! I am so worried that he will be screwed up mentally, you know? He throws horrible tantrums a lot, especially if I have to get him up in the mornings. He has been in the classroom with children who are five or so, and he starts Pre-K next week.. I feel like such a horrible parent because I don' t know what is right and wrong, or what is "normal" for his age, and what is downright disobeying and mean!! I wonder if he respects me at all. I yell at him sometimes (which does not phase him..) and/or I'll spank him on the butt (which sometimes, he will laugh at me while I spank!!) Don't get me wrong, I don't abuse my baby boy, but I'm at a loss right now. My husband is the "strict" one. I guess I'm just basically asking anyone who has experience with a preschooler to give advice and tell me if what my son is doing is normal.
