I naturally try to favor the one that everyone else does not. Once I see that happening, I try to treat them both equally.

Very few will admit it but they do.
However, more often in a home with more than 2 children, it's more likely the mom will have a least favorite child. One child just seems to be more irritating than the other 3 or 4 or however many.
Admission of this makes for too much guilt so it's rare.

I have a big family, and yes I do have a favorite. My daughter (who is 6) is my favorite, cause she is my only child. I like her better than any other child in my family or even that I know.

My children are my favorite in their own way. I'm the closest to my second oldest though. I have more of a bond with him than I do with the others. I find that I am more sensitive to what goes on around him. I get upset if my husband spanks him, but not so much with the others. I don't know why, that's just how it is.

I have two kids a girl and a boy. Honestly I don't have any favorites. I love them equally cause I gave birth to them and I always wanted both of them to have a good life coz they made me feel to be a mom and I'm so blessed to have them.

I think that father seem to prefer daughters and moms prefer sons. But it also has alto to do with the kids personality. And how they relate to the parent. Only one kid, you don't need to worry about it. But I would say yes there is a favorite kid that does one thing and that is relate to that parent. better than the other.

you will not get an honest answer on this. they all have a favorite. they will not admit it. i dont blame them.

each child has his pros and cons. you can never show favoritism.

mothers tend to like sons.
fathers tend to like daughters.

Not a favourite exactly, but perhaps one you can see the potential to be brilliant in, therfore you give them more attention and praise. IT can be interpreted as favouriteism
