my dad is a horrible dad. hes 100% abaric. and doesnt know how to speak much english. hes one of thoses fathers you wish youve never had. hes very mean to my family. i have 2 older sisters and my oldest one is like my mom. shes moving out and shes everything to me. when she moves out im screwed. my other sister i barley see. i cant stand living with my dad and i never see my mom because she works so much. i have noone at home to talk to and noone understands. its a hard problem and i dont know what to do... can i please have a little advice?

she's now 83 yrs old, and until the last weekend she was always cheerful, happy and also movable. But in Saturday she had a heart attack and now she's lying in the hospital...the doctors say that they can't predict anything, cos she's old and it's only her body and God that can decide what's gonna happen. She might recover, but she also might die.... And I'm so scared!! I never lost anyone from my closest family until now, and I love my grandma so much...I know she's old and everything, but I can''t help myself...Can anyone give me any good advice??? Please! Love ya

I LOVE MY BIG SIS WITH ALL MY HEART, BUT LAST NITE IT SHOWED SHE DOESN'T LOVE ME. MY SISTER HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SHY ONE, NO PERSONAITY, AND NO CONFIDENCE. My daughter learned this nasty habit from her father! He's bitten his nails since he was a child and wont stop for anyone, despite my anger about it or the affect it has on our kids. He is TRYING to be more careful about biting them while she's around, but he still does it when she can see. I cannot get him to stop. Can I get my daughter to stop? I tried the bitter stuff for almost a month now, and though she has cut down, she still bites them. I am continuing to punish with time outs and have tried spanking a couple of times, but nothing works. Other than getting a divorce and getting sole custody (lol) is there ANY hope of dealing with the problem in my daughter while she is still young?

When I was growing up I was always fending off rude pinches and grabs from my father. He often "accidentally" came into my room when I was coming back from the shower and changing. He flirted with my friends and often made rude comments about women's bodies. Sometimes I would wake up to find him staring at me wearing nothing but underwear. A handful of times, he got into bed with me and touched me. I told my mother about all of this. I started complaining at the age of 14. She discussed it with him and he told her he just didn't want me to grow up to be a cold woman. Over the years. I have told him not to touch me and then, when I haven't said anything for a while, he will start making the old moves again. Now I am 36. I had another talk with my mother and told her to talk to him again. I also told him I never want him to touch me again. This problem has plagued me for my whole life and has seriously affected my self-esteem and my relationships with men.

recently i found my mothers journal that dated back to 1993 and i found a lot of disturbing information about my father being addicted to cocaine... im 19 now and this is when i was 13-16 years old and i remember that time in my life and how i suspected his absence in my life was due to an affair... it makes me upset to know he lied to me to go do drugs... should i ever bring this up with my parents?

why do i have a dumb *** ungraful and unappreciative ***** for a sister in law. she cusses out her baby and yells at it and she yells at my mom when she doesnt do anything right. my baby died 3 months ago. and apparently she does not care. my husband wrote dumbass on her car ..the only reason why he did that was because she is a ungrateful *****. Both of their birthdays were over a month ago and I am feeling like I may have let them down a little bit. I usually send them a small check. They are both working. One is 24 and the other is 28. I did send them each a card. I don't even get a card from either one of them.

ok Im 12 and live at home with my mom and dad, my mom got laid off a year ago went 2 school for medical coding and finishes that. Now she is looking for a job. She has turned in at lest 50 resumes. My mother and I have had lots of issues in life since I was about 7 years of age ..no joke! My mother cheated on my father, used me to do it as well. Never loved my father..said really hurtful things to me. Also would physically abused me. She has problems with her temper. I try to get along with her now, but it seems impossible she is so negative. When I see her I feel sad and depressed , sometimes even moody and upset. Any advise please. Thanks

During that time she lived with another man for 1.5 years. She is now living on her own and is torn. Her ex husband was emotional and physically abusive in the past towards her and emotional towards the boys. He has now after counsilling come a long waay and is o longer like that. The man she lived with after he husband she loves more than life itself. He provides for her and her sons and has been like a father to them. maybe a little stricter. Now they are speaking again and shes happier. But she would do anything to make sure her sins are happy they come first. Her 14 yr loves this man and wants to be around him and would be devistated to not have him in his life. (he has never gotten along with his real dad even when he was a baby). THe 16yr and 11 yr hate this guy and rufuse to have anything to do with him. They have threatned to run away if she talks to him and doesnt want there brother to have anything to do with him. so either way one or more of the sons get hurt.
