I LOVE MY BIG SIS WITH ALL MY HEART, BUT LAST NITE IT SHOWED SHE DOESN'T LOVE ME. MY SISTER HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SHY ONE, NO PERSONAITY, AND NO CONFIDENCE. SHE BLAMES ME CUZZ WHEN WE WERE YOUNGER I WAS THE ONE GETING THE ATTENTION. BUT LAST NITE WAS A FAMILY GET TOGETHER AND I WAS TELLING A FRIENDLY FAMILY JOKE, EVERY1 WAS LAUGHING AND HAPPY UNTIL MY SIS GOT UP AND SLAPED ME! I WAS LIKE WTF! I WAS READY TO FIGHT. THEN SHE STARTED YELLING AT ME AND SAYING HOW MUCH SHE HATES ME! NOW I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! I FEEL SO BAD AND FEEL LIKE CRYING BECAUSE IN MY POINT OF VIEW I THOUGHT WE WERE BEST FRIENDS BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG. HOW CAN I BE FRIENDS MY SISTER AND SHOW HER I DO REALLY LOVE HER. I TOLD HER THAT I DIDNT NOTICE ANYTHING WAS GOING DOWNHILL, BUT SHE CLAIMS I MADE IT HAPPEN. BUT NOW THAT I THINK OF IT, I THINK SHES MAD BECAUSE HER & MY DAD HATE EACHOTHER AND I'M DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL . OR MAYBE MY SIS HAS SOME ISSUES.....BIG ISSUES SHE'S THROWING ON ME....HELP ME! PLZ!

I feel alot of people dont see eye to eye with sibblings, however, you must remember that you are sisters and God's children. Treat each other with respect and kindness and sometimes the past is best left in the past. You both need to sit down away from family gatherings and try to find a way that you can treat each other so its not intimidating or hurtful. Slapping you isnt the correct way to handle this and I wonder where she learned how to use this tactic. Good Luck and I know its not ez.

If you love your sister like you say. Get the girl some help. If she could not pull you to the side and discuss this with you in private, but instead she slapped you at a family get together during you telling a joke, the girl needs some serious counseling. I think you might want to go to a couple of the sessions with to find out why she has so much anger towards you, for your own safety. Please let your sis know that if she thought slapping you in front of family will bring some attention her why, tell her she has succeeded, the hold family thinks she's crazy now. They always say keep your eyes on the enemy and in your case it's your sister.

It sounds like she's jealous and there's really nothing you can do about it. She's the one with the problem and she's going to have to work it out for herself. Just be ready in case she ever wants to talk about it.
